More recently it was used as a school, then in the late 1980s the Mansion House and former outbuildings were converted into dwellings, and a number of new houses were built in the mature woodland grounds. Included on the development is an amenity field for the benefit of the Norton Grange Residents. Little Oak is a detached house situated on the edge of Norton Grange with views over its own paddock and the River Dene.
