2 Who are Technology Generation? Technology Generation are a new generation recruitment firm (pardon the pun) and part of the Generation Recruitment Group. Opened in 2007, Technology Generation felt the need to offer a service, different to what was currently available in the marketplace, and provide a truly consultative approach to our clients. This means not offering the same homogenized approach that many recruitment firms in the market offer, but consulting with each and every role we work on, to provide a service that meets our clients needs, not the other way around. What is Recruiter on Demand (RoD) in a Nutshell? RoD is an exciting new program being offered through Technology Generation that allows clients to get all the benefits of having an internal recruiter or team without the costs involved with having a full time member of staff. You can hire us on a one to twelve month subscription and have any number of placements (contract or permanent) made within your business for a fixed monthly cost.

3 How does it work? Engage Technology Generation to work on or offsite with your resource team or managers, to help you through the busy recruitment times. Our consultants have full access to our database and can deliver you any number of candidates, contract or permanent, for one fixed price. It s like having your own recruitment team, but only when you need it. RoD is similar to an RPO (Recruitment Process Outsourcing) model, that many of the large firms use today, however it differs in a few key ways. One Fixed Price Rather than the standard industry RPO models, that charge an annual fee for an onsite consultant, advertizing and a negotiated fee per placement, we felt that this needed to go further and be more cost effective. Technology Generation, charge one fee for our entire service, inclusive of advertising and all employment costs. Furthermore if you don t need our service for an entire year, you can engage with Technology Generation for as little as one month at a time. An entire team for the price of one consultant By implementing our RoD solution you don t just get a single onsite resource, you get our entire delivery team. Our Service Delivery team is split into four key technical teams. Working exclusively in these candidate communities, our consultants have a better understanding of market rates, technical fit and how to locate those hard to find candidates. A Technology Generation Account Manager will meet regularly with your resource team and hiring managers, to ensure we are fully aware of your current and future staffing needs.

4 Why is RoD better than a standard contingent agency engagement? For many of the same reasons that having your own internal team is a better model, not only does it substantially reduce your recruitment costs, but it allows your line managers to feel engaged in the recruitment process again. Having a less transactional relationship with your business, means that we can take more time to understand your culture and growth plans. We can work with your resource team, to ensure we are branding your company throughout the candidate community, this allows us to be recruiting for your projects well before the project begins, ensuring you have larger number of quality candidates to chose from. Working through a standard recruitment model, means that your roles only receive a proportionate amount of time with each agency. As there is no guarantee the effort spent will achieve a financial outcome for that agency, the time and effort spent on your vacancies is balanced across their client catalogue. Generally speaking the higher the profile of the agency the less time spent on each of your roles. It is in the interest of many large recruitment firms, to drive up salaries of the candidates they represent through offer stage, as this obviously increases the margins for each placement made. By working with Technology Generation, we will help ensure you don t pay too much for any particular resource and as our delivery teams work exclusively across technical markets, they have a very good understanding of what standard industry rates are. How will our service impact your current recruitment processes? It shouldn t at all, in fact we have built our model through consultation with several key Human Resource professionals and C level executives, ensuring we have a service that fits within your current process and most importantly makes a partnership with Technology Generation an easy transition. We believe that any one recruitment solution is not appropriate in today s business climate and as such, expect to be only a part of your solution; we would however like to be a major part.

5 What happens if you have a hiring freeze or are not hiring for a period of time? Talk to your account manager and we will happily put your subscription on hold until your business is hiring staff again. We want to work with you to help you build a successful, stable team and not burden your business with recruitment costs when you don t need to hire. How much does it cost compared to a standard contingent placement? We like to tailor a pricing model around your companies needs and expectations. Generally it works out to be around 1/3 of the price of using a standard recruitment model. Prices start from $30k for a one month subscription and a full service annual engagement generally does not exceed $180k per annum. How can you measure our success? Of course we will put together a mutually acceptable set of KPI s dependant on the type of placements and expectations from yourself and if we do not meet these agreements, you will not be required to pay that month s invoice.
