Attentin BHHS Family Challenge Day is quickly appraching. The gal f the Challenge Day Prgram is t build a psitive cmmunity climate and help prmte the idea that ne persn can make a psitive difference. Challenge Day is a pwerful day that can change the way peple view each ther frever. We have three days in December scheduled fr this exciting event. Tuesday, December 8, will be reserved fr freshmen nly. Sphmres thrugh senirs can attend either Wednesday, December 9, r Thursday, December 10. Students must cmplete an applicatin t participate. The link t the ggle frm applicatin has been ed t all BHHS students and the applicatin deadline is Octber 9. Preference will be given t students that have never attended Challenge Day. Limited space is available and cmpleting an applicatin des NOT guarantee that yur student will be chsen fr Challenge Day Students that have participated in Challenge Day befre can apply t be selected as a Student Challenge Day Facilitatr. All students that have been accepted will be ntified in early Nvember. 3 CRC News COLLEGE VISITS Junirs and senirs interested in meeting with cllege representatives must sign up fr the visits in advance f the visit n Naviance, by ging t clleges and clicking n visits. Students must sign up fr visits 1 day in advance and mst cllege visits are limited t 20 students. Clleges and universities are added each day, cntinue t check the list. T sign up fr a cllege visit, a student must: 1. Sign int Naviance with yur schl and passwrd. 2. BHHS zip cde is G t the Clleges tab. 4. Click View All Upcming Visits. 5. Click Sign Up t sign up. 6. Click the Sign Me Up buttn. PSAT Testing is Wednesday, Octber 14 Sphmres and Junirs Sphmres wh wish t take the exam must register in persn in the Cllege Resurce Center (CRC) beginning n September 21 and befre Friday, Octber 9. There are a limited number f pre-rdered exams available, s we encurage students t sign up early in the registratin perid. The fee is $20.00, payable by cash r check made ut t "Blmfield Hills Schls". There is n refund if a student des nt take the test. All junirs are registered fr and will take the PSAT. There is n fee fr junirs as the district will pay this year nly. This gives junirs a chance fr a practice SAT test befre they take the SAT in March as part f the MME. On test day students will be bused at 9:15 t Lahser and arrive back t BHHS at 1:40. Bring an apprved calculatr with fresh batteries and a supply f sharpened #2 pencils. Spare calculatrs are nt available n test day. Students will be excused frm classes during the testing time. The exam will begin prmptly at 10 a.m. Late arrivals will nt be admitted in exam rms after that time and will frfeit the exam fee.
