DESCRIPTION Home of the 2002 Winter Olympic Athlete Village, the University of Utah Residence Halls provides a comfortable and convenient stay for convention attendees, both individuals and groups. Nestled in the foothills of the Salt Lake Valley and located in the Historic Fort Douglas area, this accommodation is only minutes from downtown and the Salt Palace Convention Center. This is a suite-style dormitory accommodation where you will be sharing a bedroom and a bathroom (no more than 2 people share one bedroom; no more than 4 people share one bathroom.) Rate per bed per night is $50 + tax of 12.60%. All major credit cards are accepted. Full payment is due at the time of online reservation. We offer the following three options for purchasing accommodations online: 1 Bed ($50): [1 person] You are purchasing 1 bed for 1 person, and will be paired with roommates within your gender. You may request a roommate, and best efforts will be made to accommodate your request. (No more than 2 people share a bedroom; no more than 4 people share a bathroom.) 2-bed Suite ($100): [Up to 2 people] You are purchasing an entire suite for up to 2 people. The suite includes 2 beds, 2 bedrooms (1 bed/room) and 1 shared bathroom. 4-bed Suite ($200): [Up to 4 people] You are purchasing an entire suite for up to 4 people. The suite includes 4 beds, 2 bedrooms (2 beds/room) and 1 shared bathroom. NOTE: If you are buying Suites, then you control who is in the Suite with you, because you have purchased the entire Suite. Whereas, if you are buying 1 Bed, you are paired with roommates within your gender and best efforts will be made to pair you with the person(s) you request.

In order to make an online reservation, you will be required to create an account with a username and password. Only one credit card can be associated with each account. Therefore, if you want to use separate credit cards, you will need to create a separate account (email & password) for each credit card, and then make a separate reservation within that account. If you are booking multiple Beds or Suites with one credit card, you will be able to do so within your reservation. However, the reservation system is only able to reserve one Bed or Suite at a time. So near the end of your reservation, before Checkout, you will be able to loop back through the reservation process again to book a second Bed or Suite, and so on, as many times as you need, to accumulate your desired number of Beds or Suites. Douglas Station and walk across Legacy Bridge to the Heritage Center (7-10 minute walk, follow the signs). Option #2 (light-rail and University free shuttle): Take light-rail TRAX Green Line from airport to Courthouse Station. Transfer to Red Line/University. Exit at South Campus Station. Catch BLUE LINE University free shuttle bus and exit at the Heritage Center. University free shuttle buses run Mon-Fri. every 15 minutes from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM and every 30 minutes from 6:00 PM to 11:30 PM. (U free shuttle is closed Sat/Sun.) Upon arrival, you may park in the metered spaces in the half circle in front of the Heritage Center. After you register inside the Heritage Center, you will be directed to the free parking lot for use throughout the duration of your stay. From lodging to Salt Palace Convention Center: There will be complementary Outdoor Retailer shuttles running from Salt Palace Convention Center to the Heritage Center at University Residence Halls Lodging every 15 to 30 minutes from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM and from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. (On off hours, you may use the U Free Shuttle and light rail TRAX as noted previously above. The TRAX line is located on the north side of Salt Palace Convention Center, near "Pavilions at OR.") HOUSEKEEPING Please be advised we do not offer housekeeping similar to a hotel. Towel or linen exchange is offered at the Summer Conference Guest Services desk inside the Heritage Center. Complementary laundry facilities are available onsite; laundry detergent is available for purchase at the onsite convenience store. Each twin bed will be made with 2 flat sheets, 1 blanket, 1 pillow and 1 pillowcase. Each person is provided with 2 medium-sized towels, 1 washcloth, 1 hotel-size soap bar, 1 hotel-size shampoo and 1 hotel-size conditioner. Guests may bring their own large towels, if desired. CHECK-IN Guaranteed check-in is between 2:00 PM and 10:00 PM at the Summer Conference Guest Services desk inside the Heritage Center. Please notify us via email conferences@universityguesthouse.com if you will be arriving after 10:00 PM. CHECK-OUT Check-out is between 6:00 AM and 10:00 AM at the Summer Conference Guest Services desk inside the Heritage Center. No late check-out is available. Luggage storage is available upon request, if needed following a check-out.

CANCELLATION POLICY You may cancel your reservation prior to 5:00 PM MST on June 20, 2013, and receive a full refund minus a $5 per person reservation fee and a transaction fee of 6% of your total charges. Please note that if you cancel after this deadline, the entire amount of your reservation will be forfeited. RESERVATION CHANGES Reservation changes prior to the cancelation deadline (5:00 PM MST on June 20, 2013) can be made through your email confirmation letter by clicking on "View Registration and Receipt Details" then clicking on "Change Your Reservation" in the upper right hand corner of the page. (You will then need to log in.) If your reservation was made via telephone, please contact us to make changes to your reservation. New reservations made after June 20 th, 2013, please contact us via email or phone. MISCELLANEOUS Guests will be charged for lost swipe cards and/or keys.
