2 Venue : Le Vendespace VENDESPACE The Vendespace, which opened in September 2012, is the only site of its kind in France, with a whole host of technologies concentrated in one place, benefiting from excellent facilities thanks to its modularity, its aesthetics and its acoustics. With its m², including three halls dedicated to the widest possible range of sports and the boldest shows, this venue is giving a new dimension to the county. By hosting these major events, the department will enhance its actions to support sport and culture, offering an exceptional setting in the heart of the Vendée for all disciplines and art forms. 2

3 Location : La Vendée VENDESPACE Vendespace is situated in Mouilleron-le-Captif (4 500 inhabitants), a suburb of La Roche-sur-Yon. La Roche-sur-Yon, is the capital city of the department La Vendée, located in Western France. The city was founded in 1804 by Napoléon. La Vendée is one of the most attractive areas for summer tourism with lots of beaches, harbours, resorts and historical monuments. La Venise Verte, a typical natural landscape, features a magical maze of tree-lined, duckweed-covered canals called the Green Venice in the Poitevin marsh in the south of the area of La Roche-sur-Yon. Nantes Airport is only 50 minutes away from La Roche-sur-Yon. There are also possible connections with Paris by train (3h30 mins) or by plane (1h). 3

14 BUYING CONDITIONS Please make your reservation before Friday March 11th 2016 to guarantee the rooms and the rates. Please click on the link on page 15 to fill in the booking form and send it by to Vendée Expansion and the French Badminton Federation. You will then receive a booking contract. The reservation will not be valid until Vendée Expansion receives the signed booking contract and the 50% down payment. A credit card track will be asked from each team upon arrival for payment of all extras during their stay (dry-cleaning, mini-bar, phone ) In case of full or partial cancellation, Vendée Expansion will charge the Client under the following conditions: - Over 45 days before arrival, no penalty fees will be due - Between 45 and 30 days before the scheduled arrival (Day-45 to Day-30), payment of 50% of the full amount of the initial reservation will be due (All Taxes Included). - Between 29 and 11 days before the scheduled arrival (Day-29 to Day-11), payment of 75% of the full amount of the initial reservation will be due (All Taxes Included) days or less before arrival (from Day-10 to Day), payment of the full amount of the initial reservation (100%) will be due (All Taxes Included). NB: Day means the day of arrival scheduled. 14
