Overview When Feat On The Street, Inc. (FOTS) develops and hosts an endurance event for a Nonprofit Event Partner, the benefits can be multifaceted. Such benefits range from raising awareness for the nonprofit cause to generating fundraising at the participation level all the way up to generating Corporate Sponsorship. To a large degree, and particularly relative to Corporate Sponsorship, these benefits are directly commensurate to the efforts, energy and input from the nonprofit. General Branding FOTS includes Nonprofit Event Partners in top level branding, ensuring that the nonprofit name is included in all advertising including, but not limited to print media, web media, exclusive direct email marketing (reaching more than 150,000 local and regional community members per month), social media posting and in-store retail signage and registration material. FOTS provides Nonprofit Event Partners with professional grade graphics that include event branding, event name, date and location. These graphics are provided in sizes for optimal placement on the nonprofit s website, ads and/or social media postings. Typically, the initial ad sizes are (in pixels) 200x200 (small block), 800x800 (large block) and 900x270 (banner). The Nonprofit Event Partner is provided a custom URL address to use in conjunction with the graphics. This URL drives potential participants and the general recipient audience to professional registration and fundraising websites. Corporate Sponsorship 100% of Corporate Sponsorship goes directly to the Nonprofit Event Partner. Some brief examples of funds raised through this means are the approximately $12,000 in Corporate Sponsorship raised by Visiting Nurse Association (VNA) in the inaugural year of the Home Sweet Home 5K/10K event and the approximately $40,000 in Corporate Sponsorship raised by National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) in the inaugural year of the End of the Day 5K. These Corporate Sponsorship dollars were raised by the nonprofit developing and distributing a sponsorship package from a basic template provided by FOTS. Fundraising and Awareness 100% of Fundraising goes directly to the Nonprofit Event Partner. Other nonprofits, such as Denver Children s Home, Denver Urban Ministries, Denver School of Science & Technology and Homefront Heroes realized significant fundraising through donations given by participants as they registered. At the end of each event, FOTS provides a database of all registered participants, including specific participant contact demographics, that the nonprofit is then able to use to generate ongoing awareness and support. Constituent Participation Through dedicated email blasts, advertising and social media, Nonprofit Event Partners have the opportunity to engage their specific constituency in the event. It is recommended that Nonprofit Event Partners engage their internal and external professional constituencies through various means, including but not limited to, corporate team registration and/or fundraising drives and/or vendor exhibit space. Event Participation At the event, the Nonprofit Event Partner and their corporate partners are given top billing status, with large professional signage, stage announcements and speaking opportunities. Specifics Corporate Sponsorship 100% of Corporate Sponsorship goes directly to the nonprofit. Sponsorship levels can be designed to meet the theme or cause of the Nonprofit Event Partner. FOTS will provide a sponsorship template that, combined with event graphics, can be used for distribution to existing and potential corporate sponsors. The Nonprofit Event Partner is then able to engage event donors and participants in ongoing awareness and/or fundraising campaigns. Constituent Participation The more the nonprofit encourages participation from its own audience, the greater the response will be to Corporate Sponsorship, fundraising and awareness. FOTS will provide discount codes specifically designed to reach the nonprofit s audience. If the nonprofit has engaged corporate sponsors, the discount codes will be used to facilitate complimentary entries. Beyond this, discount codes can be used to provide reduced discounts for the direct audience of the nonprofit. Use the graphics and URL provided to promote registration: Post the event to nonprofit website and social media pages Encourage participation through: o Individual Registration o Group Registration o Corporate Team Drives o Fundraising Competition Event Participation The Nonprofit Event Partner should take every opportunity to enhance its presence at the event. It is strongly suggested that the Nonprofit Event Partner create as much of a visual presence as possible to maximize this branding opportunity. Specifically, it is highly recommended that the Nonprofit Event Partner bring to bear a highly visible presence in terms of staff, constituents and corporate professional partners as well as branded vehicles, signage, etc. Leading up to the event, FOTS will provide the Nonprofit Event Partner with exhibit space at: Registration Drives (typically at other endurance and/or community events leading up to the nonprofit s event Packet Pickup (typically at Sports Authority on 1-2 evenings prior to the nonprofit s event) On the day of the event, FOTS will provide: Optimal placement of 10 x10 or 20 x20 exhibit space 1-2 Exhibitor Tents/Tables Branded Banners and/or Signage at Start/Finish Line(s) Ongoing PA announcements directly related to the mission and vision of the nonprofit Ongoing PA announcements as directed by the nonprofit relative to Sponsors, Fundraising and/or Participation Drives Speaking time prior to the start of the event and at the post-event awards ceremony Page 4
