LEARNING OBJECTIVES OBJECTIVE 1: Identify processes to improve STEMI systems of care with utilization of symptom onset to arterial reperfusion (SOAR), EMS to Balloon (E2B), and Do to Balloon (D2B) times OBJECTIVE 2: Discuss and create collabative solutions to overcome existing barriers to codinated regional STEMI care that will result in improved patient care OBJECTIVE 3: Identify the ACC/AHA guidelines with respect to the AMI patient OBJECTIVE 4: Optimizing the utilization of 12-lead ECG with respect to the AMI patient OBJECTIVE 5: Identify the imptance of data collection, analysis and feedback, including the use of ACC-NCDR ACTION Registry -GWTG to improve patient outcomes OBJECTIVE 6: Assess protocols f therapeutic hypothermia post cardiac arrest patients and build a strategy f optimal system response Registration fees after May 25, 2011 DAY 1: $40.00 INCLUDES DINNER DAY 2: $40.00 INCLUDES BREAKFAST AND LUNCH BOTH DAYS: $75.00 WWW.HEART.ORG/CARUTH

2011 KEY DATES MAY 15 MAY 25 JUNE 3-4 POSTER SUBMISSION ENDS EARLY REGISTRATION ENDS SYMPOSIUM Symposium Summary The AHA Dallas Caruth AMI Advisy Symposium is dedicated to providing the best practices from all over the country f patients who experience cardiovascular events from point of care to the hospital interventions with leveraging these insights to improve the quality of care f those who suffer from an acute myocardial infarction. The conference also actively fosters infmal interaction among attendees and provides netwking opptunities f the novice care provider. The meeting will focus on new and developing opptunities, initiatives, projects, policies and research relevant to measuring and improving quality of care and outcomes f persons experience an AMI. Target Audience This conference is f EMS providers, nurses, physicians, pharmacists, administrats, healthcare and managed care professionals, policymakers and other healthcare professionals interested in quality of care of the AMI patients pre and post hospital care. Location AHA/Caruth AMI Advisy Symposium is located at the Westin Central Hotel is immediately southwest of I-635 and I-75. You can enjoy easy access to the attractions of Dallas which is centrally located within the County. Rooms f symposium participants are available at special reduced rates and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis until all are filled until May 25, 2011. After this date, reservations may be at the prevailing rate and will be subject to availability. The guest room rate does not include applicable taxes.
