Program components include: assessing at-risk nutrition patients, types of nutritional therapies available, indications and ongoing management and monitoring for successful outcomes in care delivery. Medicare guidelines for specific nutritional therapies will be presented. Factors for successful preparation of patients and caregivers for discharge will be examined. 1. The learning focus will be on how to use mindfulness as a tool to reduce stress and to promote resiliency needed to have successful, satisfying, inpatient care management practice. The contrast between traditional problem-solving approach and a broader mindfulness approach to professional stress will be reviewed through patient stories and case examples. 1.
