The fllwing table identifies the keys n the key panel f yur 6757i IP phne that yu can use fr handling calls: Keys Key Descriptin Gdbye Ends an active call. The Gdbye key als exits an pen list such as the Optins List, withut saving changes. Optins Accesses ptins t custmize yur phne. Yur System Administratr may have already custmized sme f yur settings. Check with yur System Administratr befre changing the administratr-nly ptins. Hld Places an active call n hld. T retrieve a held call, press the call appearance buttn beside the light that is flashing. Redial Redials up t 100 previusly dialed numbers. Pressing the Redial key twice simultaneusly redials the last dialed number. Vlume Cntrl Adjusts the vlume fr the handset, headset, ringer, and handsfree speaker. Line/Call Appearance Cnnects yu t a line r call. The Aastra 6757i IP phne supprts up t 4 line keys. Hands free Activates Handsfree fr making and receiving calls withut lifting the handset. When the audi mde ptin is set, this key is used t switch between a headset and the handsfree speakerphne. Mute Mutes the micrphne s that yur caller cannt hear yu. The light indicatr flashes when the micrphne is n mute. Navigatin Pressing the UP and DOWN arrw keys lets yu view different status and text messages n the LCD display (if there is mre than 1 line f status/text messages). These buttns als let yu scrll thrugh menu selectins, such as the Optins List. Pressing the LEFT and RIGHT arrw keys lets yu view the

Page 5 Sftkeys different line/call appearances. While in the Optins List, these keys allw yu t exit r enter the current ptin. When yu are editing entries n the display, pressing the LEFT arrw key erases the character n the left; pressing the RIGHT arrw key sets the ptin. -12 sftkeys n the 6757i IP Phne. -6 Tp Keys: static sftkeys (up t 10 prgrammable functins) the static keys never change regardless f handset nhk/ffhk -6 Bttm Keys: state-based sftkeys (up t 20 prgrammable functins) the state-based keys change when the handset is ffhk All tp and bttm keys can be cnfigured fr specific functins. By default, keys 1 4 are assigned as Services, Directry, Callers List, and Intercm respectively. Valu-Net changes these 4 default keys t: Avid, Vicemail, Page, D Nt Disturb (DND), Directry, Dial, Cnference (Cnf), and Transfer (Xfer). 1: Avid is a direct dial t Avid Cmmunicatins: 816-994-7050 2: Vicemail sends yu t cnfigure VM bx r check/delete messages after review and/r change vicemail pin via prmpts. 3: Page 4: DND d nt disturb. If this buttn is activated then all incming calls ring direct t yur vicemail 5: Directry access the directry list which displays up t 200 names and phne numbers (stred in alphabetical rder). 6: Dial after entering a phne number frm the keypad, press the Dial sftkey t begin dialing the number. 7: Cnf begins a cnference with the active call. 8: Xfer transfers the active call t anther number. Step 3 Vicemail Set Up Press the vicemail buttn, enter temprary PIN 000000 fllwed by the # key (r) yu will be prmpted t change the PIN t yur persnal PIN (make sure yu write this dwn and use an easy t remember number). Next yu will be asked t recrd the name yur callers will hear when called. Say yur name and press # t save and review the recrding. Step 4 Vicemail ptins The indicatr light will flash when yu have a new vicemail message. Press the vicemail buttn, enter PIN fllwed by the # key T get yur messages press 1 T repeat press 1 T save press 2 T delete press 3 T reply press 4 T send a cpy press 5 T leave as new press # T send a message press 2 T wrk with yur greetings press 3 T change yur settings press 4 T get yur deleted messages press 6 T leave this mailbx and lg n as anther subscriber press 7 T get mre help press 0 T exit vicemail press * Step 5 Hld buttn Press hld buttn t place a custmer n hld. T retrieve the hld party press the Line that is lit up. Step 6 Direct Dial On yur sftkey pad press any buttn with a pre-prgrammed name t dial anyne in the ffice direct. Step 7 Cnference Mre than ne party n the same call (similar t three-way calling): Answer call frm incming caller (first called) Press the Cnf buttn (first caller is nw n temprary hld) Optin 1: Select the pre-prgrammed name n the sftkey pad t add yur third party (yu are the secnd party), when this persn answers then Press the Cnf buttn again t bridge all 3 parties tgether n the same call Optin 2: dial anther number utside f the cmpany frm yur key pad, when this persn answers then

Page 7 Press the Cnf buttn again t bridge all 3 parties tgether n the same call Step 8 Transfer Inbund caller needs t be transferred t smene else internally: Answer riginal call, press the Xfer buttn, next select the pre-prgrammed emplyee name frm yur sftkey list. Once the ther party answers, press the Xfer buttn again which will cnnect the riginating party and the third party tgether and discnnects the secnd party (r) middle man. Step 9 Park The IP phne has a park and pickup call feature that allws yu t park a call and pick-up a call when required. Valu- Net uses a prgrammable cnfiguratin (using pre-prgrammed keys). When a call cmes in, and yu pick-up the handset, the custmer label that was cnfigured fr the Park key displays n the phne user interface (UI). After the call is answered and parked using the Park key the Park key will change t a Pick-up key n all ther phnes n the netwrk. Valu-Net uses: Park 1 and Park 2 as ur 2 keys. Yu can pick up the handset t retrieve a parked call and press the crrespnding Park key extensin 1 r 2 t retrieve the parked call where the call was parked, and press the Pick-up key. Step 10 Intercm Yu can use the Intercm key t autmatically cnnect with a remte extensin fr utging calls, and t answer an incming intercm call. Press the Intercm key Enter the extensin number f the persn yu wish t Intercm r the BLF key fr that extensin. After a beep tne, yur phne autmatically cnnects with the remte extensin and yu can speak thrugh its speaker. The cancel Intercm, press the Gdbye key. When yu are finished speaking, hang up the phne by placing the handset back n-hk r by pressing the Gdbye key. Once yu hang up, the remte phne als hangs up. Step 11 Dialing a Number First, take the phne ff-hk by: Lifting the handset Pressing the Speaker/Headset buttn Once yu hear dial tne, enter the number yu wish t call and either wait fr call cmpletin r press the Dial buttn t initiate dialing the number immediately. Step 12 Using Hands-free Speakerphne The hands-free feature allws yu t speak t smene withut using the handset r heaset. Yur phne must be in either the Speaker r Speaker/Headset audi mde. T dial using hands-free: press the Speaker/Headset buttn and either press a pre-prgrammed Name/Number key r begin using the numbered key pad nce yu hear dial tne. T answer a call n yur phne using hands-free, press the Speaker/Headset buttn Once in Speaker/Headset audi mde, yu can lift the handset and press the Speaker/Headset buttn t switch between hands-free and handset When the handset is n-hk, press the Gdbye key t discnnect the call. When hands-free is n, the speaker light turns n Step 13 Redial Press the Redial buttn t dial the mst recent number yu dialed frm the phne. If yu are ff-hk and press the Redial buttn, the last number yu called is called back. If yu are n-hk and press the Redial buttn, a redial list is displayed. The redial list is available during active calls. It stres up t the last 100 numbers yu called, allwing yu t scrll thrugh and select the number yu wish t redial. Step 14 Accessing the Redial List If yu are ff-hk and press the Redial buttn, the telephne autmatically dials the last number yu called. If yu are nt n the phne, press the Redial buttn t display the mst recently dialed number and use the #2 and #5 t scrll thrugh the list t view the ther numbers. Press #2 t see the secnd mst recently dialed number Press #5 t see the ldest call n yur list T dial the displayed number press the Speaker/Headset buttn, r list the Handset and press any line keys. Press the Gdbye key r the Redial key t cancel. Step 15 Deleting the Redial List Yu cannt delete individual entries in the redial list. T Delete ALL items in the redial list: Press the Redial buttn Press the Delete key, then press the Delete key again at the prmpt t erase all items. Step 16 Mute Yu can use the Mute buttn t mute the handset, headset, r speakerphne. When yu use the mute key n yur phne, yu cannt be heard n an active call r n a cnference. Fr muted calls, the hands-free LED flashed and the Mute key LED is ON.

Page 9 Yu can use the Mute buttn t mute the handset, headset, r speakerphne. The speaker light flashes slwly and yu can hear the caller, but they cannt hear yu. T switch mute n r ff, simply press the Mute buttn fr each request. TIP: If yu place a muted call n hle the phne will autmatically take the call ff f mute nce yu take the call ff f hld. Step 17 Answer Incming Call Press the Speaker/Headset buttn fr hands-free answering Lift the handset If yu are already n the line and anther call cmes in yu can press the new Line buttn lit n yur phne and infrm yur first caller that anther call is cming in Answering the secnd line will place yur first caller n temprary hld, with hld music when yu answer the secnd line Yu can switch in between these lines with the tuch f a buttn Discnnecting these lines is merely ending each call (hanging up) If yu cannt answer the secnd incming call then yur call will frward t vicemail Step 18 Send Incming Call t Vicemail Yu can send an incming call When yu hear the ring f the incming call yu may press the Gdbye buttn n yur phne t send caller t vicemail (r) When yu hear the ring f the incming call yu may press the Ignre buttn n yur display panel t send caller t vicemail Step 19 Directry This is yur persnal phne bk: Press the Directry key. Use yur UP/DOWN arrws t view pre-prgrammed list (r) Press the Add New buttn t add a new entry Enter Name: Enter Number Save yur entry T delete the entire Directry List, press DeleteList Press Quit buttn t EXIT the Directry VALU-NET, LLC 2914 W. Step 20 D Nt Disturb (DND) This feature prevents the phne frm ringing and receiving incming calls. Simply press the DND buttn which will shut ff the ringer and send calls straight t vicemail Step 21 Call Frward Send ALL calls, nly when BUSY, r when NOT ANSWERED t anther number: Press yur Optins buttn Optins List shuld appear with 1. Call Frward Press Select buttn Call Frward Mde appears with ptins: 1. All/2. Busy/3. N Answer Once the mde is selected then chse the State (On/Off) f the frwarding Telephne Number yu want t frward yur calls t # f Rings if ALL r NO ANSWER is selected then hw many rings will it ring yur desk phne befre it frwards If BUSY mde is selected then it will frward each time the line is busy when the secnd call cmes in Step 22 Individual User CmmPrtal T access the individual user CmmPrtal pull up a web brwser and type in address: www.avidphne.cm select the hyperlink: Open_CmmPrtal The fllwing Lgin windw will appear.
