2 0 1 6 H e a r ts at H o m e Co n f e r e n c e s The Go-To Place for Moms Hearts at Home s Mission is to encourage, educate, and equip every mom in every season of motherhood using Christian values to strengthen families. Hearts at Home began out of the need of one mom. Longing for the camaraderie and encouragement she d found at teacher conferences, Jill Savage looked for the same experience in her new role as mom. But she couldn t find any resources specifically designed to help her be an intentional mom. With a small core group of like-minded moms and a church willing to host the event, the first conference began to take shape. The year was 1994. 400 were expected to attend. 1100 showed up. Today, annual Hearts at Home conferences are attended by thousands of women. Each event blends powerful keynote sessions with relevant, practical workshops that equip moms to be the best they can be. Women who attend Hearts at Home conferences represent households across the United States, with some women traveling more than 500 miles to participate. The majority of our women are between the ages of 26 and 45 and have between 2 and 4 children. They represent stay-at-home, work-from-home, and working moms; homeschooling, private schooling, and public schooling; adoptive families, blended families and multi-generational families. A Snapshot of our Attendees:* 91% of attendees visit the exhibit area at least once during the conference. 95% of attendees would recommend a Hearts at Home conference to a friend. 90% of attendees are very likely or likely to return to a Hearts at Home conference next year. 84% of attendees travel up to 200 miles to attend the conference. 88% of attendees fall into the 25-45 year old age range. 80% of the moms who attend have between 2 and 4 children. The majority of children represented at the conference are between the ages of 4 and 12. *Snapshot is based on attendees at the 2014 Conference. 2
