President Angela Shaw Angela Shaw is a native Austinite with almost 20 years of human resources experience. She most recently had a stint in the private sector as HR Manager for a home shopping network before returning to her familiar place of public service as an HR Supervisor with the City of Austin Fire Department. Angela is a 2014 graduate of the AHRMA Stepping Stones to Leadership program and believes in leadership that is responsible and accountable. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business with a minor in Human Resources and has been a certified Professional in Human Resources since 2002. She has steadily been involved with WilcoHR since 2012. Immediate Past President Megan Potts, MBA, PHR Megan is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a BS in Human Resources Development and received her MBA from Concordia University Texas in May 2013. She received her Professional Human Resources certification in 2011. She spends her days working in Human Resources for WAG A BAG focusing on compensation and benefits, and is enjoying her role as WAG A BAG s Office Manager as well. Megan is a graduate of Ascend, a young professionals group within the Round Rock Chamber, Leadership Round Rock 2010, and has been an active WilcoHR member since 2009. Megan enjoys spending time with her family and two dachshunds, Bella and Chloe, shopping, traveling the world, and has recently started her own jewelry design business.

President Elect Tracie Thor, MA Tracie Thor is currently a HR Consultant/Executive Recruiter for Seton Healthcare Family. Tracie started with Seton in February 2008 as Senior HR Generalist supporting the new Williamson facility as well as a few smaller organizations. In March 2010 Tracie transitioned to the Talent Acquisition Team focusing on the hiring of clinical, non -clinical, and nursing leadership positions. Tracie has her Master s in Organizational Management coupled with 20+ years of HR Professional experience uses her experiences to give back to the HR Profession as an adjunct professor at Concordia and LeTourneau University. Tracie loves to inspire others to learn, grow and develop themselves in the field of Human Resources and Business. Tracie is passionate about staying connected with the community in which she lives in. She actively volunteers her time along with her family in events such as fund raisers, health fairs, job fairs, presenting at local schools, and any other way she can find to give back to those less fortunate. She also serves on the Board at Williamson County Human Resource Management Association, a SHRM Chapter affiliate as VP of Communications and prior positions as Volunteer Chair and Secretary. If Tracie is not spending time with her family, at work, church, school, or volunteering her time, you will find her curled up reading a good book or out riding horses, her other two passions. Tracie feels blessed to have a supportive and loving family, strong ties with her church, great friends, and a job at Seton, Concordia, and LeTourneau that she loves and which is aligned to her own personal values and beliefs. College Relations Sandy Thompson, PHR Sandy is a graduate from Southwest Texas State University with a BS in Applied Arts and Science, with emphasis in Human Resources. Sandy continued her studies through the SHRM Learning System and was awarded Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification. Sandy s work history includes human resource positions in banking, publishing, recruiting, and manufacturing. Sandy, and longtime friend, Sean Herbold own Complete Solutions Consulting in which they advise and assist entrepreneurs in gaining a higher level of company exposer in the market and increase earnings. Sandy is a Past President of AHRMA, served as VP of Membership of WCHRMA as well as 2011 and 2012 President.

Secretary Chantele Bluiett, PHR Chantele is currently a HR Program Manager for the City of Cedar Park. Chantele has over 18+ years in both public and private sector arenas as an HR professional. She is a graduate of Texas State University with a BA in Applied Arts and Science with an emphasis in Occupational Education. Much of her HR experience has been in a generalist area with the last recent years focusing on Training and Development, Recruitment, Compensation and Civil Service. She is an active member of SHRM and received her PHR in 2008. Co-VP Workforce Readiness Nancy Pena Nancy Pena, with Evins Personnel Consultants, has actually known the Evins family for almost 30 years, giving her an in-depth understanding of what small companies need to grow and be successful. She now works with Business Owners and Managers to determine solutions to their staffing needs and Human Resource administrative challenges. Nancy got involved with WCHRMA when she became Client Services Manager at the Round Rock branch office of Evins Personnel, and decided very quickly she wanted to get engaged with the organization. She started attending the monthly meetings and then has volunteered for 3 years to edit the organization s monthly newsletter and serve on the Board as Secretary. Nancy has a passion for companies to succeed by helping them hire great employees and she actively seeks to help businesses grow and prosper by getting to know local area business people. She is your go to person if you are looking for resources, connections, moral support, great employees, etc. Nancy s motto is It s all about the people.

Co-VP Workforce Readiness Judy Anderson Judy Anderson, SPHR certified since 1998, has more than 25 years Human Resources experience in service, manufacturing and retail business environments. For 14 years, Judy served as H R Director for Sallie Mae, the nation's leading student loan provider, at the company s Killeen Servicing Center, a 1,300-seat contact center. Most recently Judy has been actively involved in leading the efforts of HIRED Texas Job Club, located in Round Rock, assisting local unemployed individuals navigate their career transitions. Judy s life-long passion for workforce and leadership development has led her into Career Coaching. Throughout her career, Judy has been actively involved in advancing the HR profession and serving in various leadership roles, both locally and at the state level in Texas. VP Communications Roselind Alvarez Roselind graduated from Concordia University with a BA in Human Resource Management. She has worked with Seton Healthcare Family in a variety of positions for 13 years. She is currently a medical transcriptionist/editor, and assists with maintaining and updating the transcription software. She joined WilcoHR in 2014, and is enjoying both learning from and contributing to the organization.

VP Membership Amber Lively Amber is a strategic sales and business management leader with 14 years of experience in the health sectors. She has a proven track record of sales performance, management, and leadership in fast paced and changing environments. She also possesses a strong ability to work independently and efficiently deliver company goals. Amber has worked for several well known occupational medical clinics in the last few years and connected to WilcoHR through her work with local human resource leaders. She was the WilcoHR 2014 volunteer of the year and is excited to continue her work with the organization. She has a Bachelors of Science degree in Healthcare from Texas State University. VP Programs Georgie Komeiner Georgie has a Bachelor of Science in International Hospitality and Tourism Management from Sheffield Hallam University and is currently pursing a Master of Science in Human Resources Training and Management from University of Leicester. She has recently moved to Texas from Europe and currently works for Apple Inc. She speaks four languages and loves to help people. Georgie joined WilcoHR as a way to connect to the human resources community since is pursuing her Masters in the field. She looks forward to a long relationship with WilcoHR in a volunteer role.

Treasurer Melinda Thomas Melinda has been the HR manager for a small educational publishing company since 2006. She and her husband moved to Austin from Connecticut in 2011 when the company relocated. Her previous positions have included being an office administrator for a medical practice and a high school educator. She received a BS in Accounting from Post College, an MBA from the University of New Haven, a teaching certification from Central Connecticut State University and is a PHR. She has a son in NYC that she continues to praise the Austin area to in hopes of his eventual relocation as well. She, her husband and dog are glad to call Round Rock home.
