For selectig the light source lamp ad projectio les, please cotact your local Soy Sales Office/Service Ceter. Before turig o the power of the mai uit, perform the followig procedure as required. (For details, refer to the descriptio of each sectio.) For the removal of the cabiet pael required for each procedure, refer to Sectio 1-1. m. It is ot required to perform steps 1 to 11 sequetially. 1-2. Tilt Agle Adjustmet For further adjustmet, 2-6. Field Agle Adjustmet is required. I the case of tilt agle uder 5 degrees: Adjust the tilt agle usig the adjuster i the lower portio of this uit. 1. Loose the ut. 2. I the case of tilt agle from 5 to 10 degrees: 1. Remove the pael (U7) block assembly. (Refer to Sectio 1-1-2.) 2. Remove the pael (U2) block assembly. (Refer to Sectio 1-1-3.) 3. Remove the pael (U3). (Refer to Sectio 1-1-4.) 4. Remove the pael (U6). (Refer to Sectio 1-1-5.) 5. Remove the pael (U5). (Refer to Sectio 1-1-6.) 6. Set the tools such as jack at both sides of frame, the raise the rear portio of the mai uit. 7. Remove the four M8 bolts. 8. Move the adjuster pipe assembly dowward ad isert the four M8 bolts ito the four holes to secure it. 9. Lower the jack ad attach the pael (U5), pael (U6), pael (U3), pael (U2) block assembly ad pael (U7) block assembly. Whe settig the jack, pay attetio to the holes o the bottom of flame. 1-7. Istallig the Touch Pael Adapter The recommeded operatig moitor maufactured by ADVANTECH ca be attached to the supplied touch pael adapter. 1-8. Istallig the Lamp Bulb w. Be sure to tur off the power of this uit before istallig the lump bulb.. Be sure that oly the qualified service persoel ca istall the lamp bulb. For the qualificatio, please cotact your local Soy Sales Office/Service Ceter.. Whe istallig the lamp bulb, be sure to wear the protectio suit kit (J-7120-330-A (M size), J-7120-340-A (L size), or J-7120-460-A (XL size)). Also, wear the shoes that cover the istep of the foot completely.. Be extremely careful whe hadlig the xeo lamp bulb because a high voltage is applied to it.. Do ot touch the lamp bulb with bear hads. Otherwise, it may break the lamp bulb. Wearig of protectio suit kit 1. Wear the jacket ad trousers. 2. Wear the arm cover o both hads so that the wrists are completely covered. 3. Wear the hood ad attach the face shield. 4. Adjust the face shield to the head size usig the adjuster o the back of the face shield. 5. Wear the glove o both hads. Procedure m. Keep the serial code label affixed o the Operatig Istructios of the lamp bulb which is required for istallatio.. Keep the materials such as packagig box, case, protectio sheet because they are used whe disposig of the used lamp bulb.. As for the aode haress itegrated lamp bulb, steps 1 ad 2 are ot required. 1. 10. Loose the kob, the move the aode holder i the directio of the arrow. 11. Isert portio A of the lamp ito the cathode termial. Whe attachig the lamp bulb, be careful ot to damage the reflector portio. Also, be careful ot to damage the glass of lamp bulb. Otherwise, it may break the lamp bulb. 12. Hold the cathode side of the lamp bulb firmly ad raise the aode side. The, retur the aode holder to the origial positio ad tighte the kob. 13. Place the aode side of the lamp bulb o the aode holder. 14. Attach the aode haress to the aode termial, the tighte the bolt. (Tighteig torque: 1.5 N.m). After istallig the aode haress separated lamp bulb, if there is a clearace i portio A of the aode holder, adjust it by bedig the aode haress so that there is o clearace betwee the aode holder ad the lamp bulb. 15. Tighte the hexago socket set screw of the cathode termial. (Tighteig torque: 1.2 N.m) Be sure that there is o clearace betwee the ed face of the cathode termial ad the surface C of the lamp bulb. CSC adjustmet for virtual white The D61 WP (White Poit) of DCDM stadard specified by DCI SPEC is cosiderably gree-tiged. Some people i the film idustry recommed D65 or D55 WP. However, whe the software created by D65 or D55 WP is istalled i the display adjusted by DCI SPEC, some colors ru out of color space causig a clippig problem. To solve this problem, Virtual White is proposed. Its chromaticity rage is the same as DCDM; WP x=0.319, y=0.3338. Also, the data for realizig 14 ft-l is slightly chagig. By this, the clippig problem does ot occur i ay of D65, D61 ad D55. If Virtual White is used for adjustmet, there is o problem i the DCI SPEC sigal. 4. COMMERCIAL DISTRIBUTION Commercial distributors of software may accept certai resposibilities with respect to ed users, busiess parters ad the like. While this licese is iteded to facilitate the commercial use of the Program, the Cotributor who icludes the Program i a commercial product offerig should do so i a maer which does ot create potetial liability for other Cotributors. Therefore, if a Cotributor icludes the Program i a commercial product offerig, such Cotributor ( Commercial Cotributor ) hereby agrees to defed ad idemify every other Cotributor ( Idemified Cotributor ) agaist ay losses, damages ad costs (collectively Losses ) arisig from claims, lawsuits ad other legal actios brought by a third party agaist the Idemified Cotributor to the extet caused by the acts or omissios of such Commercial Cotributor i coectio with its distributio of the Program i a commercial product offerig. The obligatios i this sectio do ot apply to ay claims or Losses relatig to ay actual or alleged itellectual property ifrigemet. I order to qualify, a Idemified Cotributor must: a) promptly otify the Commercial Cotributor i writig of such claim, ad b) allow the Commercial Cotributor to cotrol, ad cooperate with the Commercial Cotributor i, the defese ad ay related settlemet egotiatios. The Idemified Cotributor may participate i ay such claim at its ow expese. For example, a Cotributor might iclude the Program i a commercial product offerig, Product X. That Cotributor is the a Commercial Cotributor. If that Commercial Cotributor the makes performace claims, or offers warraties related to Product X, those performace claims ad warraties are such Commercial Cotributor s resposibility aloe. Uder this sectio, the Commercial Cotributor would have to defed claims agaist the other Cotributors related to those performace claims ad warraties, ad if a court requires ay other Cotributor to pay ay damages as a result, the Commercial Cotributor must pay those damages. 5. NO WARRANTY EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY SET FORTH IN THIS AGREEMENT, THE PROGRAM IS PROVIDED ON AN AS IS BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS OF TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. Each Recipiet is solely resposible for determiig the appropriateess of usig ad distributig the Program ad assumes all risks associated with its exercise of rights uder this Agreemet, icludig but ot limited to the risks ad costs of program errors, compliace with applicable laws, damage to or loss of data, programs or equipmet, ad uavailability or iterruptio of operatios. 6. DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY SET FORTH IN THIS AGREEMENT, NEITHER RECIPIENT NOR ANY CON- TRIBUTORS SHALL HAVE ANY LIABILITY FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOST PROF- ITS), HOWEVER CAUSED AND ON ANY THEORY OF LIABILITY, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, STRICT LIABILITY, OR TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE OR OTHERWISE) ARISING IN ANY WAY OUT OF THE USE OR DISTRIBUTION OF THE PROGRAM OR THE EXERCISE OF ANY RIGHTS GRANTED HEREUNDER, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. 3-29
7. GENERAL If ay provisio of this Agreemet is ivalid or ueforceable uder applicable law, it shall ot affect the validity or eforceability of the remaider of the terms of this Agreemet, ad without further actio by the parties hereto, such provisio shall be reformed to the miimum extet ecessary to make such provisio valid ad eforceable. If Recipiet istitutes patet litigatio agaist a Cotributor with respect to a patet applicable to software (icludig a cross-claim or couterclaim i a lawsuit), the ay patet liceses grated by that Cotributor to such Recipiet uder this Agreemet shall termiate as of the date such litigatio is filed. I additio, if Recipiet istitutes patet litigatio agaist ay etity (icludig a cross-claim or couterclaim i a lawsuit) allegig that the Program itself (excludig combiatios of the Program with other software or hardware) ifriges such Recipiet s patet(s), the such Recipiet s rights grated uder Sectio 2(b) shall termiate as of the date such litigatio is filed. All Recipiet s rights uder this Agreemet shall termiate if it fails to comply with ay of the material terms or coditios of this Agreemet ad does ot cure such failure i a reasoable period of time after becomig aware of such ocompliace. If all Recipiet s rights uder this Agreemet termiate, Recipiet agrees to cease use ad distributio of the Program as soo as reasoably practicable. However, Recipiet s obligatios uder this Agreemet ad ay liceses grated by Recipiet relatig to the Program shall cotiue ad survive. Everyoe is permitted to copy ad distribute copies of this Agreemet, but i order to avoid icosistecy the Agreemet is copyrighted ad may oly be modified i the followig maer. The Agreemet Steward reserves the right to publish ew versios (icludig revisios) of this Agreemet from time to time. No oe other tha the Agreemet Steward has the right to modify this Agreemet. IBM is the iitial Agreemet Steward. IBM may assig the resposibility to serve as the Agreemet Steward to a suitable separate etity. Each ew versio of the Agreemet will be give a distiguishig versio umber. The Program (icludig Cotributios) may always be distributed subject to the versio of the Agreemet uder which it was received. I additio, after a ew versio of the Agreemet is published, Cotributor may elect to distribute the Program (icludig its Cotributios) uder the ew versio. Except as expressly stated i Sectios 2(a) ad 2(b) above, Recipiet receives o rights or liceses to the itellectual property of ay Cotributor uder this Agreemet, whether expressly, by implicatio, estoppel or otherwise. All rights i the Program ot expressly grated uder this Agreemet are reserved. This Agreemet is govered by the laws of the State of New York ad the itellectual property laws of the Uited States of America. No party to this Agreemet will brig a legal actio uder this Agreemet more tha oe year after the cause of actio arose. Each party waives its rights to a jury trial i ay resultig litigatio. 3-30
