The VXM4B also has a paic recordig feature (from the frot pael or exteral iput) which overrides all other recordig settigs to provide the best quality recordig i the evet of a emergecy. The remaiig umber of recordig days will be displayed as differet recordig parameters are cofigured. Telemetry cotrol Full telemetry cotrol is available from the frot pael or remote coectio with a wide umber of speed dome protocols supported. Protocols ca be set idividually for each chael ad telemetry speed ca be adjusted to suit particular speed domes. Allows more tha oe camera to go to a preset from oe alarm activatio. Extesive moitor support The VXM4B has 3 mai moitor outputs (Composite, VGA ad SVideo) which ca be used simultaeously. Support is also provided for up to 4 spot moitors ad each spot moitor output ca be programmed i the VXM4B setup. 3 REcoRDiNG setup The ituitive setup of the VXM4B gives complete freedom to defie exactly the right recordig parameters to suit idividual applicatios. Each idividual chael ca be cofigured o a weekly, daily ad hourly basis to record either by schedule, alarm iput or motio detectio. I additio, each chael ca be cofigured o a weekly, daily ad hourly basis for image resolutio, frame rate, audio recordig ad image quality. This flexibility allows recordig time to be maximised without compromisig playback quality. A typical example might be a VXM4B cofigured to record cotiuously at lower frame rates durig the day ad the at higher frame rates o motio detectio durig the ight. Hard Drive Moitorig The VXM4B uses SMART techology to check the status of the hard drives. Each hard drive costatly moitors its ow operatig parameters if ay abormalities are detected, the hard drive passes this iformatio to the VXM4B which will otify the operator either by alarm output or . SMART moitorig esures that potetial data loss is avoided by predictig hard drive failure before it happes thus allowig prevetative actio ad backups to be take. Watchdog The watchdog is a idepedet part of the VXM4B system that moitors the system firmware every 5 secods. If the watchdog detects ay problem with firmware operatio, it will automatically reboot the VXM4B to esure that recordig operatio is ot iterrupted. 4 programming THE VXM4 Programmig the VXM4B is simple thaks to the ituitive Graphical User Iterface (GUI).
