GENERAL INFORMATION Established in 2007, the NY State Chapter of the ASMBS Mission is to be the definitive venue for dealing with statewide issues in bariatric surgery. The Chapter goal is to advocate on behalf of patients and providers in New York State. Our efforts focus on the advancement of education and educational programs for physicians, integrated health members, and hospital staff both clinical and administrative.
