Key Accountabilities Key result area Key Accountabilities Organisational Development consultancy and ongoing development programs Provide input into the design, development and maintenance of the OD Consultancy methodology for AV Contribute to the identification of service gaps relating to organisation development and proactively develop proposals for service enhancement and innovation With guidance from the Senior OD Consultant/Manager Organisational Development, undertake organisational development projects to drive improved organisational performance, incorporating the following: Developing project briefs for project sponsors that articulate the objectives, scope and outputs of the consultancy Conducting research to determine best practice approaches and quality standards Analysing and evaluating options and outcomes in line with organisational constraints Identifying and proposing a best-fit organisational development solution for relevant individuals / teams Establishing a baseline from which progress and achievement can be measured Championing and implementing the design and delivery of agreed organisational development solutions Monitoring and evaluating progress against objectives and standards Evaluating outcomes and organisational return on investment Capturing and sharing lessons learned Estimating project costs, managing project budgets, issues and risks Plan, design and supervise allocated development initiatives as outlined within the OD Program and annual strategy Strategy, Frameworks, Tools As guided by the Senior OD Consultant/ Manager Organisational Development: Implement strategy and develop supporting frameworks, tools and methodologies for allocated programs/initiatives Where appropriate, facilitate knowledge sharing of the above frameworks within the Organisational Development team and wider organisation Assist in workforce analysis activities to determine the ongoing development needs of the organisation with regard to performance improvement, succession planning, capability development and business risk Ambulance Victoria Date of Issue: May 2010 Position Number: 040196, 040234 Page 3 of 6
Key Accountabilities Key result area Key Accountabilities Evaluation, Compliance and Policies Working collaboratively with the Senior OD Consultant/ Manager Organisational Development: Stakeholder management and specialist advice Ensure that all initiatives are reviewed using the OD evaluation framework, monitoring quality in order to drive continuous improvement Ensure alignment to appropriate frameworks, systems, policies and procedures and reports, including AV s desired organisational culture and agreed OD frameworks Work collaboratively as a member of a team of OD consultants to ensure there is alignment and consistency of OD approaches across the organisation Ensure alignment of frameworks, methodologies and programs to the Individual Learning and Development program / calendar Ensure alignment to the AV project management methodology and relevant templates Contribute to the development and maintenance of OD policies and procedures Influence organisation development outcomes by developing and maintaining effective networks with internal and external stakeholders Assist the Senior OD Consultant / Manager Organisational Development, in marketing the organisational development internal consultancy service and OD capability to General Managers and other senior staff within AV Liaise with appropriate internal resources and/or specialist third party consultancies / providers for the provision of services as required Contribute to the development of the Organisational Development department s business plan including resource requirements, as well as activities associated with the annual / strategic plan process Ambulance Victoria Date of Issue: May 2010 Position Number: 040196, 040234 Page 4 of 6
Selection Criteria Qualifications and experience Tertiary qualification in Education, HR, Management or equivalent Experience working in an Organisational Development or related environment Experience and/or qualifications in conducting needs assessments, developing, and leading organisation development solutions.
