FLEXIBLE INDUSTRIAL CABLES H07RN-F TENAFLEX SR Standards : CENELEC HD 22.4 NF C 32-102-4 DIN VDE 0282-1 and VDE 0282-4 BS 6007 and BS 6500 IEC 60245-4 Rated voltage Rated voltage: 450/750 V (Use up to 1 kv AC is permitted in fixed protected installation as well as to supply power to motors, lifting and similar appliances). Applications / features Excellent Good Medium The characteristics of the insulation and of the sheath make the TENAFLEX SR cable suitable for the following specific applications : Flexible cable with high tenacity, great resistance to oil and mineral greases : buildings sites, quarries, drilling installations, automotive industry,... Flexible cable for use in high ambient temperature : hot countries, close to furnaces, Cables laid up with small bending radius. Cables to be used for temperatures down to -35 C in static open air installations and down to -10 C in dynamic applications. Usual laying techniques According to NF C 15-100 standard and European harmonisation document HD 516 : Dynamic applications. Laid on wall, in cable ducts, on cable trays Suitable in explosive area (BE 3 class according to NF C 15-100), with additional suitable mechanical protection, ampacity reduction being of 15 %. Design Flexible bare copper conductors, class 5 of NF C 32-013 / IEC 60228 Cross-linked elastomer insulation Black cross-linked elastomer outer sheath These materials present characteristics better than the EI4 et EM2 types of the standard, mainly regarding to their suitability at low and high temperature. Moreover, these materials are lead free. 1
Maximum allowable temperature on core During continuous operation: 85 C * During short-circuit: 250 C * In the tables of general characteristics below, the ampacity and voltage drop are calculated for a temperature on core of 60 C, according to the European standardisation. Nevertheless, the use of these cables up to 85 C on core is possible; the ampacity being increased by 20 % on average. The good characteristics of our H07RN-F TENAFLEX SR cables do not allow for an installation not being perfectly efficient and well maintained. No cable can withstand to abnormal conditions in mobile operation. In case of heavy duty and high mechanical stress, please contact us. We also can supply H07BN4-F cables according to HD 22.12 / NF C 32-102-12, which present similar mechanical and chemical characteristics, but are suitable for a temperature on core up to 90 C during continuous operation.
