WHY EXHIBIT WITH ECF Why Exhibit With Us? Our Reputation For the past 19 years, the Education and Career Fairs have provided high school students, parents, teachers and counselors with thousands of options for their future. Our events are incorporated into the schedules of most career planning / development aspects of their curriculum. In the next series of events, we are expecting approximately12,000 attendees in just five events! The key to our success is our relationships with local high schools and districts in each of the host cities who transport their students in Grades 10-12 to our events. We assist with their group registration and ensure that they are taken care of from the moment they arrive at the venue to the time that they depart. On the service side, we provide excellent client support and are available to our exhibitors from the start at registering to exhibit to the last moment of the final event. By organizing exhibitor surveys, we listen to their suggestions and concerns and continually strive to provide the best service and options such as advertising and sponsorship of our events. A Word From Our Exhibitors... "The ECF coordinators are amazing - they are always there to make our experience easier. The ECF events are fun, inclusive, and connect our school with students from all over the province. We look forward to the ECF events! They are well organized, well-advertised and fun to attend as an exhibitor and/or student." Angela Gielen, Registrar Think Tank Training Centre, Vancouver, BC "Thompson Rivers University has been at every fair since they started years ago and we'll be there again this year. The post-secondary decision-making process for students is starting earlier and earlier, and the Education & Career Fair is a place where we can make a personal connection with high school students in key urban markets." Josh Keller, Director, Student Recruitment & Liaison Thompson Rivers University, Kamloops, BC The Education & Career Fairs are a very important part of student recruitment for our programs. It s a great opportunity to have hundreds of potential students come to you to pick up information or to speak with you in person. I ve participated for 3 years now and it has always been a positive experience. The Education & Career Fairs team provides all the information you need to have a successful day at their venues. The exhibitor manual they ve put together covers booth setup, hotel arrangements, move in/out schedules, etc. If you do have any questions, the staff is always very helpful. Shelley Hayes, Department Assistant/Advisor Agriculture Technology, University of the Fraser Valley, Abbotsford, BC "The ECF events have been extremely successful for us with an engaged group of students in every city we attend. Every event that we have gone to has resulted in enrolments at our school and has us being able to assist a whole new crop of students!" Scott Gamble, Admissions Director Vancouver Acting School, Vancouver, BC Tel Aviv University has enjoyed our relationship with the Education & Career Fairs. Through your fairs, we had the opportunity to meet with students and individuals who are interested in studying abroad and are looking for a unique academic experience in Israel. The events have helped us expand our program to new students from all corners of the province." Orna Deyaon, Director of Overseas Students Tel Aviv University, New York, USA For over 10 years Les Roches, International School of Hotel Management and Glion, Institute of Higher Education have attended the ECF events. The events are very well organized and a great source to spread the word about the possibility to study abroad. Les Roches and Glion belong to Laureate International Universities, Hospitality Education. In addition to the Canadian students in BC, there are so many international students interested to study in an international environment. The ECF events are a great way to attract students who want to study in one of our Universities in Switzerand, Spain, China, USA, Great Britain or Australia. The information provided by the organizers is very helpful and the staff are supportive before, during and after the events. We look forward to attending the events again this year. Peter and Ursula Helfer, Educational Counselors Laureate Hospitality Education, Admissions Office Western Canada The Education & Career Fairs provide JCI exposure to the high school market that would be too difficult for us to on our own - especially in markets outside of the Lower Mainland. Without these events, we would have to rely on digital marketing alone and would not have the face-to-face interaction that is so valuable in student recruitment. Colin, Director of Admissions John Casablancas Institute Great event, great opportunity to reach out to out-of-province students for our institution.
