2 The 2nd NORDPLUS-IDROTT Conference 2013 marks the 25th anniversary of the Nordplus- Idrott Network. This milestone is celebrated with a scientific and professional conference on the overall theme Next practice in physical education and movement science. The conference strives to bring together specialists from different areas to debate and present enquiries into the many ways physical activity and, specifically, physical education influences human life. Attracting researchers and professionals from areas such as sport and exercise science, physical education, health and applied biomechanics, the conference will be a prominent opportunity to get insight and overview of new studies and evidence on a number of key topics within movement science and physical education. The conference is designed in order to encourage participants to identify, explore and discuss ways to influence developments in sports, physical activity and physical education at local, national and international levels. In this way we honor the overall purpose of the Nordplus-Idrott Network namely in promoting innovation, cooperation and solid partnership building between higher education institutions and other relevant organizations in order to strengthen the broad area of sports science and physical education.

5 Workshops During the conference we have several sessions with workshops which includes oral presentations with a duration of 10 minutes followed by 2 minutes of questions. As much time as possible should be left for joint discussions and dialogue. Please make a preliminary estimate of which workshops you would like to participate in. 6 Abstract Submission ORAL PRESENTATION The duration of the presentation is 10 minutes followed by 2 minutes of questions. POSTER PRESENTATION This type of presentation involves a poster that will be on display for one whole nominated day at a central location. The maximum dimensions are: width 115 cm x height 170 cm ABSTRACT LAYOUT AND SUBMISSION Abstracts should be submitted in English and should not exceed 300 words. Structure your abstract as follows: Aim - Describing the purpose of the study Methods - A brief description of the research design and protocols Results - Report just the main result secondary results can be included in the presentation Conclusions - Describing the outcomes or implications of the study Acknowledgments References For submission send the abstract as early as possible, but not later than 1st of April: nordplus2013@health.sdu.dk
