Aalborg Golf Klub is situated in the northern part of Denmark and is the second oldest Danish golf club, founded in You will find the club 10 kilometres west of Aalborg City. It is a 27-hole international champion course with lakes and woods. Drug abuse In order to avoid any misunderstanding in connection with required medication, please check the list of drugs issued by your national sports council. Fruit and water Complimentary fruit and water will be available on the 1 st and 10 th tee all days. Lockers Lockers for golf bags will be available. There will be two lockers for personal belongings available for each team. Deposit 10 to be paid for each locker. Please contact the Tournament Office for these services. Medical care A doctor will be on call during the Championship. Pigeon holes Pigeon holes for the captains information will be located near the tournament office. Please check regularly for information. Practice rounds The official practice days are Sunday 4 and Monday 5 July. Tee times will be available on the Championship website from June 28. Practice facilities. The practice facilities will reserved for Championship players all week. 4 Spikes There are no restrictions regarding spikes on the course. Team costs Each team (4 players + 1 captain) will be charged 1000 to cover expenses such as bus transportation, trolleys, practice balls, photos and farewell dinner. Additional officials and team members are charged 100. Team captains will be informed of the exact time. Trolleys Trolleys will be available for all team members. Booking is not necessary. Electric trolleys are not allowed. Buggies will not be available for team captains. Transportation to Denmark and Aalborg Golf Klub Copenhagen Airport is the main airport in Denmark with connections all over Europe. There are domestic flights from Copenhagen to Aalborg flying time 40 minutes. However, the airline servicing Aalborg cannot guarantee to carry all luggage on the same flight as the passengers due to the size of the aircraft. Please have your travel agency check this before booking tickets. Alternative transportation from Copenhagen Airport to Aalborg is the train. It takes appr. 5 hours and leaves twice every hour from the airport. Please check for departure times. Billund Airport is another airport with connections to several European cities. The travel time to Aalborg by bus is 2 hours. Bus transportation from and to Billund Airport will be arranged for team arrivals on July 3 rd and departures on July 11 th. A shuttle bus service will be provided between the official hotel and the golf course. Pick up times will be posted on the notice boards at the golf club and the hotel.
