It has been six years since I helped create the Kailyard, and in that time the food we produce has become tastier and more personal. I m lucky to have a great team of chefs, under the watchful eye of Executive Head Chef, Steven Campbell. Together we have developed dishes that utilise the very best of Scottish produce and are cooked in a way that makes the most of these wonderful raw materials. Some tried and tested Nick Nairn classics have been highlighted with the Nick Nairn signature. I hope you enjoy your meal with us.

6 White Wine Los Romeros Sauvignon Blanc, Chile This is a refreshing wine with citrus and pear flavours balanced by good natural acidity. Ideal on its own or with summer salads, seafood and grilled chicken. Pontebello Pinot Grigio, Australia Fresh with notes of stone fruit, such as peach and citrus fruits with just a touch of sweetness on the finish. Cullinan View Chenin, South Africa Fresh with a lemon zestiness backed up by slightly off dry tones of pineapple and passionfruit and a medium bodied mouthfeel. Great to pair with Asian style dishes as well as white meats. Marsanne-Viognier, Rare Vineyards, France Bottle Fresh, lively citrus notes with ripe peach flavours. Unoaked, the emphasis is on fresh, fruity citrus fruit backed by notes of peach blossom, the finish is soft and rounded Chardonnay Blackstone, Monterey, California, USA Bottle Crisp, lively acidity matched with delicious tropical fruit aromas and flavours. Monterey s reputation for growing some of California s finest Chardonnays is now well established. Leiras Albarino, Spain 175ml ml Bottle The complex bouquet is joyously aromatic, with floral notes and aromas of ripe fruit such as pear, peach, apple and pineapple. The perfect accompaniment for seafood dishes. Vavasour Sauvignon Blanc, New Zealand Bottle It displays an expressive nose of tropical fruit, melon and citrus, with mineral notes on the palate. Crisp and dry, this refreshing wine exhibits all the hallmarks of great Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. Sancerre La Fuzelle, France Bottle Full of crisp, ripe acidity and gooseberry fruit flavour. Chablis, Louis Jadot, France Bottle One of the most famous white wines in the world, this is taut, mineral and crisp with fresh zesty acidity and a stony character. Sparkling Wine & Champagne Prosecco Extra Dry, Fantinel, NV 125ml 7.00 Bottle The ideal aperitif or accompaniment to everyday celebrations, Pale straw in colour with light and elegant aromas of fruit and honeysuckle followed by crisp flavours of citrus, melon, and pear. Lemoine Brut 125ml 8.50 Bottle The champagne is fruity and has light aromas of citrus fruits to entice you in. The complex flavour is well balanced and features a lengthy finish. The golden liquid is aged for a minimum of two years in the cellars and due to this the champagne is rich, light and elegant. Laurent Perrier Brut 125ml Bottle While vintage champagne shows the character of a specific harvest, non-vintage brut exemplifies the style of a particular House. Freshness, elegance and finesse, all of which are typical of Laurent-Perrier s wines, are found in the Brut Laurent Perrier year after year. Laurent-Perrier Cuvée Rosé Brut, NV Bottle This champagne is famous for its highly expressive bouquet, which stems from the very careful preservation of the grape s natural fresh red fruit aromas. It is one of the rare rosé champagnes to be made using the maceration (skin contact) technique.

7 RED Wine Bonavita Merlot, Australia Very fruit driven its sweet ripe cherry and plum flavours end with a long soft finish with smooth tannins. Los Romeros Malbec, Chile This wine is made from old vines and as a result has a good depth of flavour and concentration. Black cherry, plum, bramble and plum blossom marry well with blackcurrant and spice. Borsari Cabernet Sauvignon, Italy Bright, soft berry-fruits with juicy damsons, a smooth, easy-going red. Cullinan View Pinotage, South Africa 175ml ml 8.50 Bottle This wine is deep in colour, with juicy blackberry flavours supported by ripe tannins. Ideal with game, red meats and cheeses. Son Excellence Syrah, France Bottle This red wine is silky yet spicy, and fruity from red berries. From southern France. Cabernet Sauvignon, Errazuriz, 1870, Chile Bottle A wine with plenty of blackcurrant and bramble fruit flavours. A third of the wine is aged for about six months in a mixture of French and American oak. Rioja Faustino VII, Rioja, Spain 175ml ml Bottle With its inviting fruity flavours, is perfect to go with starters, everyday red meat dishes and poultry. Shiraz, Red Knot, McLaren Vale, Australia Bottle Primary aromas of black cherry, strawberry and milk chocolate are highlighted with hints of roasted coffee bean and vanilla. The palate is a delicious compote of ripe summer berries. Crozes Hermitage Tuiliere, France Bottle The Syrah grapes for this wine are hand-harvested mainly from vineyards on alluvial soils. The wine possesses typical aromas of Syrah from the Northern Rhône: small red fruits, blackcurrants, supported by spicy notes. Nobilo Icon Pinot Noir, New Zealand Bottle Flavours of ripe blackberries, cherries and plums are layered with complex secondary characters of cigar box aromas and toasted oak. Showing good length, the wine lingers with a spicy finish. ROSE Wine Vendange White Zinfandel Light flowery-fruity aromas highlighted by strawberry and a touch of lemon.
