Department: Business Office Assistant Controller Under the supervision of the Controller, is responsible for general ledger systems. Performs monthly reviews of account balances and allocations of costs. Provides guidance and assistance to the accounts receivable, accounts payable, and client funds teams. Works with the Controller and Chief Financial Officer to ensure good internal fiscal control. Bachelor s degree or higher from an accredited college or university in Accounting, or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam and 46 credits in accounting, business or related subjects. BA/BS in Human Services or a related field, with emphasis on rehabilitative counseling from an accredited college or university. Duties include, but are not limited to: scheduling and documenting medical appointments for persons served, preparation and distribution of charts, forms and paperwork for medical appointments, pharmacy and supply orders, and processing of insurance and authorization forms. Interacts with persons served, families, professionals and paraprofessionals as well as general public. HS/GED, and working knowledge of standard English, basic arithmetic and modern office methods and equipment. Must have two years experience in a medical office setting.
