At GoECart, you will learn and acquire new skills and experiences at a record pace. You will leverage your strong digital marketing skills, creativity and business acumen to take both our marketing group and your career to the next level. Requirements and Responsibilities: If you are an ambitious, quick learner and have strong knowledge and experience in at least five of the following nine categories we strongly urge you to apply! Pay-Per-Click (PPC) Keyword Analysis and Research: Knowledge of keyword research. This includes knowing how to identify the least inexpensive, yet most profitable keywords for sites. 3. SEO and PPC Copywriting: This includes the aforementioned keyword research, as well as SEO and PPC writing guidelines, e.g., where to place keywords in copy so that it gets the most SE traffic, write effective Google Adwords and Bing PPC Ads with compelling call-to-action statements. You will also be responsible for creating (or overseeing the creation) of original SEO content for our sites, in addition to implementing off-page SEO content strategies like coding (e.g., when and how to effectively use header tags (ie, H1, H2, H3)). 4. Search Engine Guidelines: You keep abreast of latest white hat and black hat tactics so as not to run afoul of search engine guidelines. 5. Social Media Marketing: Social networking is becoming increasingly more important for GoECart and its clients. Websites such as Facebook, LinkedIn,
2 Quora, YouTube and Twitter are amongst the most popular social networks that we target and they represent a great pool of potential clients, prospects and other interested parties for us. You will help us manage, maintain and improve our presence on these services and others. 6. Marketing: marketing remains one of the most important components of our online marketing plan. You will help us grow and manage our list; work with HTML specialist to design campaigns; send out campaigns using Bronto marketing software and Marketo marketing automation software; you will track and monitor the campaigns and report on the results. You will also find ways to intertwine other online presences such as social networking outlets with the campaign. 7. Technology Skills: Knowledge of HTML a plus; CSS; blogging platforms like Wordpress; and MS Office. 8. Metrics and Analytics: You are expected to know the language of SEO, e.g., organic search, PPC marketing, CTR, CPC, SEM, ROI, keyword density, long-tail keywords, etc. and have a good grasp of measurement and tracking tools like WordTracker, Google Analytics, Web Position, etc. 9. Liaison: You will liaise with many different departments and professionals, inside their own company, with the client company and with independent contractors. For example, they may work with our marketing point person to strategize ways to improve and track site performance; you may compile reports for the management team; and you may consult with independent web designers to improve the navigation of our sites so as to enhance its search engine ranking. "Soft Skills Required Communication Skills: You must have excellent communication skills (written and verbal). Self-Starter: As this position entails so many elements, you are a self starter; someone who doesn t require handholding. You should be able to assess a situation, develop a plan, get approval and run with it. Analytical Thinker: Piggybacking on the last skill, it s imperative that you possess critical thinking and analytical skills. You should be able to readily identify problems and formulate practical solutions. Cool Headed: You work well under pressure; keep a cool head and demeanor.
