Responsibilities: Include, but are not limited to, the following: Count chips in Drop Boxes collected by Security from gaming tables and record amounts on appropriate forms. Perform all duties assigned in accordance with legal regulations and requirements. Maintain security of the countroom, drop boxes, and drop box keys while on shift. Responsible for opening, counting and verifying the amount for every dealer tip pool envelope dropped. Qualifications: Regularly required to stand for a minimum of a 7 to 8 hours shift at a table located approximately 48 inches from the floor. Able to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 lbs., frequently up to 50 lbs., and occasionally up to 65 lbs. Able to distinguish between primary and shades of colors in order to handle gaming chips. Investigates, studies, and analyzes industrial and vehicle accident causes and hazards to health for use by company personnel and outside agencies. Inspects organization facilities to detect existing or potential accident and health hazards, determines corrective or preventative measures where indicated, and follows up to ensure measures have been implemented. Provides information, signs, posters, barriers, and other materials to warn of potential and actual safety hazards and to prevent access to hazardous conditions. Oversees the investigation of accidents and injuries and cooperates in the preparation of material and evidence for organization use in hearings, lawsuits, and insurance investigations. Reviews and submits accident reports as required. Consults with administrator of the workers' compensation program on strategies to reduce employee injuries, lost time etc. Manages injury claims through effective follow up with injured associates, oversight of nurse case management, coordination of information to the worker compensation insurance provider and legal counsel. Strategizes with this team on effective case management. Represents the organization in community or industry safety groups and programs. Maintains safety files and records. Organizes and participates in company Safety Committee meetings and Vehicle accident review board on a monthly basis. Environmental: Manages the Risk Management Program/Process Safety Management "Ammonia" (monitor compliance/inspections/training) Ensures compliance with AQMD regulations Rule 2202 & permitting compliance, LACSD compliance, DTSC regulations, RCRA & Non-RCRA hazardous waste, CAL EPA regulations Completes various environmental surveys and participates in internal and external audits. Plans and implements programs to train managers and employees in safe environmental practices. Food Safety: Manages HACCP compliance, standard operating procedures, food safety policy and procedures. Supports food safety QC. Works with the warehouse management staff to accept or reject non-conforming product at receiving, warehouse or returns. Audit food safety procedures and complete required inspections Respond to customer concerns or questions regarding food safety Plans and implements programs to train managers and employees in food safety procedures and policies. Member of the food safety recall team.
7 Oversees food safety audits from ASI, Steritech, government agencies and customers. Maintain acceptable audits performance Requirements: 1. Bachelor s degree with emphasis in Health and Safety preferred, or equivalent experience. 2. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and problem-solving skills. 3. Minimum three years related experience with demonstrated understanding of OSHA and DOT regulations, and Worker s Compensation procedures. 4. Three years distribution experience strongly preferred, foodservice industry preferred. 5. Ability to proficiently operate computer software programs including Excel, Word, and Powerpoint.
