NATIVE AMERICAN PREFERENCE STATEMENT Pauma Band of Mission Indians, a federally recognized Indian Tribe, in accordance with section 703(i) of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, will give preference to Native Americans who meet job position minimum qualifications with regard to hiring, promotions, transfers and training. *CAGE* CAGE SHIFT SUPERVISOR(1) Overall responsibility for the safeguarding of casino assets by ensuring casino policies and procedures are followed on their assigned shift. Selects, schedules, directs, supervises, trains and develops all cage team members. Plans, directs, and coordinates the functions of Cage Operations staff on the assigned shift, to include the Main Bank and Kiosk/ATM Operations, Team Member Window and the Cashier Frontline. Demonstrates and provides outstanding guest and team member relations at all times. Ability to operate a 10-key calculator by touch and perform basic math computations. Knowledge of computer systems, including Microsoft Office. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Must have excellent money handling skills, including previous cash and ship handling experience. Ability to deal effectively, use reason and understanding, with all guests (internal and external) exercising tact, diplomacy, and patience at all times. Must be self-directed, self-motivated and demonstrate initiative on a daily basis. Must be detail oriented and have positive work ethics. Must be flexible and able to work all shifts, weekends, holidays and special events as needed. Excellent teamwork a must. High School Diploma or GED is required Minimum of 2 years of casino cage operations experience including Frontline, Employee Window, and Main Bank or equivalent supervisory experience (i.e., banking, high volume cash handling). Must be able to communicate in English. Bilingual (Spanish) or multilingual a plus. *IT* HELP DESK OPERATOR(1) Maintain the Casino Management Information System as directed by the Sr. Director, Finance through the IT Manager. Ability to install, repair and troubleshoot computer system and relate components in a corporate environment. Ability to multi-task in a fast pace environment. Flexible to work various shifts, weekends, weekdays, ect. At least two years experience working in a professional, corporate environment. A commitment to providing exceptional customer service. Ability to install, repair, and troubleshoot various software applications including the Microsoft Office Suite.
2 *FOOD AND BEVERAGE* FOOD & BEVERAGE SUPERVISOR(1) Responsible for overseeing general functions of the restaurant and bar services during an assigned shift Five years working in a food and beverage operation and one year of general supervisory experience or successful completion of a supervisory training program. Must be able to fill in as a bartender. Knowledge of Restaurant and Bar operations and guest service. Knowledge of alcoholic drink preparation. Ability to be guest/service oriented. Ability to recognize an intoxicated patron. Skills in organization and communication. Ability to insure team concept in the workplace. BARTENDER(1) Responsible for assisting Bartenders and Beverage Servers. Must be 21 years or older required Knowledge of beverage operations and guest service Ability to be guest/service oriented High School Diploma or GED (preferred) COOK(1) Prepare, season and cook sauces, meats, vegetables and other foodstuffs in a restaurant using standardized recipes. Serves prepared food using appropriate plates, cups, pans, bowls and trays to maintain customer appeal. Clean and sanitize workstation making sure everything is properly covered, labeled, dated and rotated, to insure service of quality and healthy food. Two years cooking experience in institutional food preparation including broiler, sauté and frying. Ability to read chemical directions and warnings for their proper use. Have a thorough knowledge of all institutional kitchen equipment and their proper use and care. Fine motor skills (knives, small utensils) Ability to read, understand and communicate any caution or safety notices. DISHWASHER (GRAVE)3 Cleans and sanitizes all kitchen service ware including plate ware, glass & bar ware, trays and silverware using proper equipment and cleaning agents. Cleans and maintains kitchen areas to manufactures guidelines using proper chemicals and cleaning agents. Ensures organization, pickup and delivery of all needed service ware. :. Will train Ability to communicate effectively with all Team Members and Guests General chemical safety and cleaning awareness preferred Ability to read and interpret chemical directions and warnings for their proper use Ability to read and understand any caution or safety notices FOOD SERVICE ATTENDANT (GRAVE )2 Responsible for preparing raw food items for cooking process. Peels, cuts, chops, dices, slices and minces meats, cheeses, vegetables, fruits and other food products following specifications. Cleans and sanitizes workstation making sure everything is covered, labeled, dated and rotated, to insure service of quality and healthy food. Receive and disburse money. Use equipment such as adding machines, point of sale machines, and credit card processing machines to process payments for customers. Performs all closing duties and additional duties as directed by management. These tasks will be handled in a friendly, courteous, helpful, timely and professional manner resulting in a high level of guest satisfaction. 6 months prior cashiering experience (preferred) or the successful completion of in house cashier training course. Prior hospitality experience (preferred.) Knife motor skills. Ability to read chemical directions and warnings and for their proper use.

Ability to read, write and speak English language sufficient to offer special promotions, make correct change and communicate with guests Must have knowledge of restaurant operations, service standards, etiquette, and guest relations. Ability to remember, recite and promote the variety of menu items. Ability to operate computerized point of sale equipment. High School Diploma or GED (preferred) PREP COOK(2) Responsible for the accurate, expeditious and friendly service of all food products to the F&B Supervisory Team and fellow Team Members within a designated service area while providing, fast, friendly, and exemplary guest/customer service. Under the direction of a Lead Cook or Cook, prepares raw food items for cooking process. Peels cuts, chops, dices, slices and minces meats, cheeses, vegetables, fruits and other food products for cooks and pantry attendants following Casino Pauma specifications. Cleans and sanitizes workstation making sure everything is covered, labeled, dated and rotated, to insure service of quality and healthy food. 6 months experience in institutional food preparation including keen knife motor skills (required) Ability to effectively communicate with Team Members and Guests Ability to read, interpret and use standardized institutional recipes; has thorough knowledge of all institutional kitchen equipment and their proper use and care Ability to read chemical directions and warnings for their proper use; ability to read and understand any caution or safety notices Ability to perform any general cleaning tasks using authorized, institutional labeled cleaning products as assigned to adhere to health and safety standards Cafeteria Attendant (2) Stocks and restocks all service ware, hot buffet food, salad bars, and beverage stations. Cleans and sanitizes workstation making sure everything is covered, labeled, dated and rotated to insure quality and healthy food. Use of proper bowls, trays, plates and pans to maintain customer appeal. Prepares food items and garnishes as ordered by employees and serves food as ordered to insure fast service and quality of food products. Cutting and chopping of lettuces, vegetables, fruits, desserts and other foodstuffs by following specifications of standardized recipes. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 6 months experience in food service. Have a thorough knowledge of all institutional kitchen equipment and their proper use and care. Ability to read and understand any caution or safety notices. Knife motor skills. *HOUSEKEEPING & FACILITIES* ENGINEERING TECH II Responsible for successfully maintaining, and repairing the casino. Also ensuring all maintenance requests are carried out and completed in accordance with Casino Pauma standards. Must have three years related experience. Must have knowledge of plumbing, electrical, painting, and air conditioning maintenance. HOUSEKEEPER (8) Performs cleaning of the entire casino and restrooms on an assigned shift. High School Diploma or GED preferred. HOUSEKEEPING SUPERVISOR Responsible for implementing and ensuring all housekeeping operations on assigned shift are in accordance with Casino Pauma s Policies and Procedures and high standard levels. : Two year minimum experience in housekeeping supervisory or related position required Strong organizational and interpersonal skill (required) Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation, maintenance, and procedure manuals. Knowledge of safety standards
4 *MARKETING* GUEST SRVICE SUPERVISOR (1) Reports to the Guest Service Manager. Responsible for managing the daily operations of the Players Club and other Marketing outlets as needed at the direction of the Guest Service Manager. Implements day to day marketing activities for the property. Promotes a highly motivated Players Club team with a focus on guest service. : One year player s club experience in a supervisory capacity or three years as a player s club rep (preferred) Casino promotions and player tracking experience (preferred) Knowledge of POS system (preferred) Cash handling experience (preferred) Excellent guest service skills Ability to work independently with little or no supervision Ability to operate computers software applications; including players tracking, Excel and Word Good organization and follow up skills Knowledge of business composition, grammar, spelling, punctuation Valid Driver s License; must be vehicle insurable through Casino Pauma Agent Ability to communicate effectively with Team Members and Guests Ability to work flexible schedules to include nights and weekends *SECURITY* SECURITY OFFICER (1) Responsible for maintaining the facility, customer and employee security and safety during assigned shift. You would also escort all money transfers throughout the casino, and escorts armored car personnel while at the facility. : High School Diploma or GED. 2-3 Years experience in Law enforcement, Military or Security (preferred) Valid California Driver s License (required) Must be Vehicle insurable Knowledge of proper security procedures in a public relations/customer service atmosphere Knowledge of State and local laws applicable to the Casino Pauma Ability to stand for long periods of time *SLOTS* SLOT TECH I(1) Maintain and repair of electronic equipment, including slot machines and video equipment, by performing mechanical and electronic repairs quickly and efficiently. Six months of related work experience at a coin/cash/ticket casino or coin/cash/ticket operated field and/or experience in electronic repair and associated tools. Knowledge of computers (hardware and software). Ability to exercise initiative, sound judgment, logic and problem solving skills. Ability to maintain effective working relationships with coworkers and the public. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing. Ability to work on a flexible shift schedule. Knowledge of electronic repair procedures, proper use of tools and associated test equipment. *TABLE GAMES* TABLE GAMES DEALER(2 F/T) Responsible for dealing card games as assigned. Maintain the highest standards of customer/guest service, game protection and integrity in the Table Games department. One year dealing experience (preferred) in a casino with similar betting limits. Must be able to successfully pass an audition of dealing skills Prior customer service experience Ability to work effectively with coworkers and the public Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing Knowledge of effective money handling procedures Ability to make change and mentally perform basic math calculations Skilled in resolving customer and employee relation issues
5 *VALET* VALET(1 F/T) and (1 P/T) Park and retrieve guest automobiles. Provides guest service at the Casino entrance. Ensures excellent guest services by providing promotional casino information to guests.
