3 The Matterhorn Village is at an altitude of 1650m and is about 10 or 15 minutes walk down to the chair lift in Les Masses but parking is easy in all levels of Les Collons so you can park by the chair lift at Les Masses (free of charge) or even next to the ski school at Les Collons The nearest restaurant is ten minutes walk away in Les Masses where there is also a shop which sells basic necessities. 5 Stunning views from your living room The allowance for the internal specification is very generous and will include a fireplace and top quality kitchen (Poggenpohl) and all appliances. Each chalet will comprise: The ground floor has 3 spacious double bedroom suites (with a semi-open plan bathroom with sliding doors and a separate w.c).the fourth suite could be used as a fifth bedroom suite or for a sauna and relaxation / games room. The middle / entrance level floor will have a wall of glass at the front and on both sides to maximise the views and a fabulous terrace on the South side of the chalet. On the top floor will be the master bedroom suite with a huge picture window and a bath set under the window. 11 Chalet 6 This chalet is larger than the others and has a wellness room of 28m2 with a sauna, shower, w.c., and relaxation area. Outside on the huge sun deck is a Jacuzzi. Under the chalet is a double garage with stairs leading up into the chalet and also a ski room and a laundry room. The chalet has a gross area of 387 m2 including the garage and a net habitable surface of 297 m2 so may only be purchased by a Swiss or a B permit holder. 14 Les Collons - Resort information Les Collons 1800m Les Collons has two supermarkets several restaurants, and a few bars, but the real charm of the area is the feeling of traditional Switzerland as you gaze down at the larch forests with their delightful chalets dotted over the slopes and the spires of churches in the quaint villages on the other side of the valley. Les Collons is a village at 1800m which links into the Verbier ski system which is just under 2 hours from Geneva and 20 minutes from Sion, making this the fastest transfer in the Alps. Snowjet have flights from London Stansted to Sion on Saturdays and Sundays in the ski season. Les Collons is located at the end of the 4 Valleys, it is part of one of the largest and highest ski regions in Europe, and is also within easy driving distance of Crans-Montana, Grimentz, and Zermatt. The village faces East and catches the morning sun and there are magnificent mountain views including the back of the famous Matterhorn. Page 14 of 19 Information correct as of 25/03/2010

15 Stunning views from Les Collons 1800m There are swimming pools and other facilities at Thyon 2000 and Veysonnaz just ten minutes away and there are charming bars and local restaurants in the villages of Heremence and Vex. Sion is fifteen minutes away. Les Collons has many summer facilities in the area including tennis courts, mountain biking and Lake Dix can be reached by taking a cable car from the foot of the dam (the highest dam in Europe) and then you take a boat across the lake and admire the views from the restaurant or hike to the ski resort of Arolla. 16 Les Collons is part of the Verbier ski area - the largest in Switzerland and has pistes for all abilities There is so much skiing on your doorstep that there is no real need to ski over to Verbier but you can get there on skis in just over an hour. A new télécabine from Veysonnaz opened 2 years ago and a new high speed chair lift to Etherolla (2450m) opened last year to improve the access to Verbier. More snow cannons and new lifts are coming. 18 Investment potential Les Collons has the most potential of all the villages which link into the Verbier ski system as there is still a huge amount of land which could be developed and there are currently three schemes to build hotels with a spa, restaurants and commerce near the lifts. Most of the land between the lifts is zoned only for the construction of individual chalets so the essential character of the region will be maintained. Les Collons is going up market as the chalets being built are now larger and more luxurious than those built previously and the area was recently features in the Financial Times as a growth region. There is also an investment program to replace the old two man chair lift from Les Masses and the lift company have agreed to do this when the new planned 4* hotel complex has been built. Legal Requirements Demand for property in the Verbier ski area was so strong and prices were rising so fast that in 2007 the Canton of Valais introduced a one year moratorium blocking sales to foreigners but this ban has now been lifted and foreigners are permitted to buy in the Valais again. New regulations will now enable the developer to sell some of these chalets to foreign buyers on a first come, first served basis. Viewing There is a huge choice of cheap flights to Geneva and Veysonnaz and Les Collons now have the shortest transfer in the Alps thanks to - a new scheduled service flying from London Stansted to Sion in the winter season. Why not stay at the Hotel Terminus in Sierre and treat yourself? The restaurant in the hotel is the Didier de Courten, one of Switzerland's best new restaurants (2 Michelin stars, 19 Gault Millau points, and Chef of the Year 2006) but they also have a more reasonably priced brasserie next door.
