3 NEW YEAR S DAY Sunday 1st January 2017 Wake up to a New Year s Day bucks fizz breakfast and time perhaps for a last visit to the city before you depart for home. With the January sales on there s never been a better time to shop in York. TARIFFS Prices are per room, DBB are fully inclusive of one night s accommodation and all details mentioned in the programme. All prices are based on two people sharing Doubles and Twins. At that magical moment, join thousands of revellers outside the Hotel to hear York Minster ring in the New Year. NEW YEAR S EVE Saturday 31st December The day is yours to explore York. In the evening join us for a Cocktail Reception from 7.15pm followed by New Year s Eve Grand Dinner-Dance and a 5 Course Menu served at 8pm. Disco music and dancing from 9pm through til 1am. (This is a black tie event). 5 STAY WITH US Christmas Holiday in Historic York Relax in our 4 star contemporary-styled luxury hotel, overlooking York Minster. Champagne and carol-singers, Father Christmas bearing gifts, full English breakfast each morning and a Champagne and Canapés reception followed by a 5 course Grand Christmas Day Lunch; just some of what to expect. CHRISTMAS EVE Saturday 24th December After arrival and settling in, join us from 6pm for a Fizz and Canapés reception with local Carol singers who ll be here from 6.15pm until approximately 7pm. Dinner is a 4 Course Menu with an emphasis on local seasonal produce cooked creatively, with traditional fare at the heart of all our menus. Midnight Mass at York Minster - being so popular the queues start at 11pm. A warming nightcap of mulled wine and mince pies are available on your return.

6 CHRISTMAS DAY Sunday 25th December After breakfast perhaps a walk in our historic city at a quieter time than normal! Please gather at 12.15pm in the foyer for pre-lunch Champagne, before a Grand 5 Course Christmas Day Lunch. The Queen s speech will be shown on TV in THE COURT Café-Bar. Christmas Day Evening features a 2 Course Grand Carving Buffet served from 7.30pm til 9pm. Whole Salmon, Sirloin of Beef, Seafood and Salads all before you - and more besides. No set seating this evening. (The hotel is closed to non-residents).

7 BOXING DAY Monday 26th December Following a hearty Yorkshire breakfast, Boxing Day morning is free to relax and enjoy York. IT S PANTO TIME... OH YES IT IS! The Panto matinee performance starts at 2.30pm and seats are allocated. UK s longest serving Panto Dame, Berwick Kaler, will return to the newly refurbished Theatre Royal just a few minutes walk from the hotel. This year the pantomime will be everyone s favourite Cinderella. BOXING DAY DINNER This final evening will feature local produce and seasonal dishes in a 4 Course Menu. RESTAURANT SEATING (24TH 26TH) Seating is in the Captain s Table format with guests sharing with others on larger tables - creating a tried and tested convivial atmosphere. There are several tables of two and four available. Please state if you prefer to share, as we may transfer couples to tables of two if they become available last-minute. As our menus are planned so far in advance we may, despite our best efforts, need to change or replace dishes if any produce is unavailable or in short supply at the time.

CHILDREN Sharing with two adults fully inclusive of the entire three day programme, under 16 years of age 300 per child Your room will normally be ready by 2pm - however, please feel free to arrive as early as you wish. Luggage can be stored and cars parked. The hotel has its own secure car park nearby. The car park charge is 50 for the three day package. We have a valet-parking service. CONDITIONS OF BOOKING FOR 3 DAY PACKAGE A 50% deposit is required at the time of making your reservation. The outstanding balance is required by Friday 28th October For reservations made after 28th October 2016, full pre-payment is required at time of booking and is subject to the Cancellation Policy.
