11 Antipasti - Bread toppings ANTIPASTI BREAD TOPPINGS Antipasti is like a small treat before the meal. It is so easy to prepare: in Italy we usually mix different kinds of antipasti on a plate and offer them to guests together with an aperitivo or a glass of wine. The aperitif includes some appetizers: olives, freshly roasted vegetables, red peppers, courgettes, aubergines, asparagus - whatever s in season - tiny crostini spread of tapenade or grissini (breadsticks) wrapped with prosciutto crudo.
