1 Here is a step by step guide to Microsoft Outlook 2007 setup. These are the details you need before you can setup the client: POP3 or receiving server: mail.yourdomain.com (where yourdomain.com is your domain name) SMTP or sending server: mail.yourdomain.com address: you@yourdomain.com Username: you@yourdomain.com Password: password you have chosen when that account was created. To setup a new account you need to click on Tools > Account Settings.

2 You then need to click New to add a new account. You then need to select Microsoft Exchange, POP3, IMAP, or HTTP and click Next. Please note that our severs are POP3 servers and that you cannot use any other protocol in the list.

4 Here you need to click Manually configure server settings or additional server settings in the bottom left corner and click Next.

5 In the next step you need to fill in the account information. Here are the things you need to fill in this screen with: Your Name: you need to enter you name here. This is the name that will be displayed on the receiving end. address: This is the address you have your POP enabled for. It is same as your Admin username. Username: This is your Admin username and it is same as your address. Password: This is the password you have chosen when you first created this account. Incoming mail server (POP3): This will always be mail.yourdomainname.com SMTP or sending server: Your ISPs sending (SMTP) server. You need to get this information from your Internet Service Provider. Alternatively you can use mail.yourdomain.com (where yourdomain.com is your domain name) but often the communication to third party SMTP servers will be blocked by your ISP in order to cut the amount of SPAM going out of their network.

7 In the next step click More Settings and make sure that you have the correct settings in this section. In General tab you need set your name and a reply address. This is usually the same as your address.

8 Finally, under Advanced tab you need to make sure that the port numbers are 110 and 25 and that nothing is ticked. You then need to click OK and Finish. Now, when you click on Send/Receive you should be able to send and receive mail. If it does not work then please refer to Troubleshooting article below follow the steps starting from step 1.

9 Troubleshooting Here you will find the troubleshooting steps that lad you through troubleshooting your in case you cannot send or receive mail or both. If we are host your , these will be your details: POP3 or receiving server: mail.yourdomain.com (where yourdomain.com is your domain name) SMTP or sending server: mail.yourdomain.com address: Username: Password: password you have chosen when that account was created. Step 1 Make sure that your have all the correct settings Check user's settings You need to make sure that the address you are adding to your client is correct i.e. that it matches the address supplied to you and also that you have a correct password. Step 2 Check if you can log in into webmail A part of our service is a webmail. Webmail allows you to send and receive through your browser. You can log in into your webmail by opening your browser and typing (yourdomain.com is your domain name in this case) into the address bar and pressing enter. You will then get a login box in which you have to enter your address and your password. Click the login button and wait until the webmail application loads. If you cannot see this screen and you have made sure that all the above steps are correct you need to contact the support team and pass your login details onto them for investigation.

10 Step 3 I can receive but CAN NOT SEND mail If you can receive POP but not send it, then it may be that the problem is related to your ISP (Internet Service Provider) blocking the access to our SMTP server. Some big ISPs, such as Australia's Bigpond and Optus are known to do this, but the practice is not uncommon. These are the precautions they take to prevent spam being sent from their networks. In this case please use your ISP's SMTP server for mail sending. Contact your ISP your to get your SMTP server's address, or visit their website and search for "setting up ." Once you have the correct details (it should be something like smtp.yourisp.com or mail.yourisp.com), you need to change the appropriate settings for sending s in your favourite client (Outlook, Mail, Thunderbird) and the problem will be resolved.
