Either establish the PC with the required cmpnents r lad the remte capture applicatin n a different PC that meets the requirements listed belw. Operating System: Windws Vista (all 32-bit versins), Windws 7 Ultimate and Basic (32-bit and 64-bit versins), r Windws 8 and 8.1 (64-bit) RAM (Memry): Minimum Requirement: 512MB RAM (1GB RAM required fr Vista) Prcessr: Intel Pentium 3 r cmpatible 2.4 GHz r higher prcessr Primary Hard Drive: 200MB available hard drive space Scanner Cnnectins/Prts: One available USB 2.0 prt Screen Reslutin: Screen Reslutin f 1024 x 768 r higher Sftware Dependencies: The fllwing sftware cmpnents are necessary fr the applicatin t perate crrectly and shuld be laded r installed prir t the remte capture installatin prcess. Internet Explrer: Internet Explrer 7.0 r higher. The system will nt functin prperly in any brwser ther than Internet Explrer. When using Win 8, nly use the Internet Explrer icn within the desktp t pen the internet. D nt use the Win 8 Internet Explrer App (tile) t install r access Depsit 24/7..NET Framewrk: Micrsft.NET Framewrk 2.0..NET 3.0, 3.5 and 4.5 are supprted, but require.net 2.0 als resident n PC. Adbe (Acrbat) Reader: Adbe Reader 5.0 r higher. When using Win 8, dwnlad the current versin f Adbe Reader. D nt use the Win 8 Adbe Reader App (tile). NOTE: Reprts are delivered as HTML and Adbe PDF. Sme are prvided in PDF nly (QuickBks Reprts, Research Reprts and Training dcuments). Windws Lgin Rights: The fllwing Windws rights are required t access the relevant functins fr remte check depsit. Administratr Rights: Users will require lcal administratr access t the wrkstatin t install the security plicy, activate cmputer, and perfrm first-time capture. When using Win 8, nly use the Internet Explrer icn within the desktp t pen the internet. D nt use the Win 8 Internet Explrer App (tile) t install r access Depsit 24/7. 2. Frm the main lgin screen, click System Requirements Test. A series f tests are run n the wrkstatin and a detailed list f results is displayed. Pass Warn Fail Cnfiguratin meets minimum standards. Cnfiguratin is belw minimum standards and system may nt perfrm ptimally. Cnfiguratin will nt supprt applicatin; system shuld be upgraded befre cntinuing with installatin. 3. Click Clse. 4. Frm the lgin screen, click Help with Security Setup. Click the Initial Setup Steps link t review supprting dcumentatin fr the prcesses t Establish a Trust t the Web Server and Set Custm Security Levels. Establish a Trust t the Web Server 1. Open a new Internet Explrer windw. 2. Select Tls. 3. Select Internet Optins. 4. In the Internet Optins windw, select the Security tab. 5. Highlight Trusted Sites frm the web cntent znes at the tp. 6. Click the Sites buttn. 7. Enter the URL f the Remte Check Depsit Web Server t which the client PC will cnnect. 8. The applicatin uses HTTPS (server verificatin). Ensure the checkbx t require server verificatin is checked. 9. Click the Add buttn. The URL lists at the bttm f the screen as a trusted site. 10. While still in the Internet Optins Security screen, with Trusted Sites still highlighted, click Custm Level fr the Security Level at the bttm f the screen. 2. Fr the fllwing.net Framewrk Reliant Cmpnents and ActiveX Cntrls, ensure the Security Settings are set t Enable:.NET Framewrk-reliant Cmpnents: Run cmpnents nt signed with Authenticde ENABLE Enable.NET framewrk setup-enable ActiveX Cntrls and Plug-ins: Run ActiveX cntrls and plug-ins ENABLE Script ActiveX cntrls marked safe fr scripting ENABLE Display vide and animatin n a web page that des nt use an external media player-enable. Miscellaneus Use SmartScreen filter DISABLE Integrated Windws Authenticatin DISABLE. 3. Click OK t save changes. 4. Select the Advanced tab. 5. Verify that D Nt Save Encrypted Pages t Disk is unchecked. If this ptin is checked it can cause several prblems n the system, including nt running.net cntrls and viewing PDFs culd be affected. 6. Select the General tab. 7. Click Settings, under Brwsing Histry. 8. Select Every time I visit this webpage. 9. Click OK. 10. Click OK t clse the Internet Optins windw. Dwnlad.NET Security Plicy 1. Under the Help with Security link, click the link t Dwnlad.Net Remte Capture Security Plicy. 2. When the install shield clses, Clse Internet Explrer t apply the changes. 3. Repen Internet Explrer t RCD applicatin URL. When using Win 8, nly use the Internet Explrer icn within the desktp t pen the internet. Frm the main lgin screen, click Activate Cmputer. 2. Enter the 20-character cmputer activatin key (supplied by t yu frm bank in a secure ). 3. Click Submit. 4. Upn successful activatin, click Clse. 5. Lg in t the client applicatin t cntinue the installatin prcess.net 4.5 Security Plicy Updates 1. If.NET 4.5 has been installed, click Cntinue t Enable Previus.NET Framewrk Versin in Internet Explrer. 2. If ActiveX Killbits set fr Null GUID, click Cntinue t Allw.NET Framewrk-Reliant Cmpnents t Run. 8 Remte Check Depsit Client Applicatin Installatin Guide Setup within Applicatin Install Scanner Driver These install steps are nt cmpleted if using Simplex Scanning (flat bed r 4 in 1 scanners.) Ensure that all pre-requisites have been cmpleted befre installing scanner drivers. 1. Ensure scanner is NOT cnnected t PC. 2. Frm the main menu, click Installatin. 3. Select the scanner t be used fr capture. 4. Click Install. 5. Fllw applicable cmputer prmpts. Sme scanners d nt display any prmpts during install. 6. Once the scanner driver install is cmplete, clse Internet Explrer t apply the scanner driver. 7. Cnnect scanner t PC and turn n scanner. 8. Verify drivers successfully installed. a. Right-click n My Cmputer Manage. b. Highlight Device Manager. c. Expand Universal Serial Bus Cntrllers. d. Verify scanner lists as USB device. 07/09/2015 8

9 Remte Check Depsit Client Applicatin Installatin Guide Edit Access Rights Assign user rights t specific lcatins and accunts. 1. Frm the main menu, click Cnfiguratin. 2. Select the Users tab. 3. Select a user t edit. 4. Select the task level t assign access fr this user. The lcatin r accunt access may be set at any r all levels. Fr example, select a main task (e.g. Remte Capture) t assign rights fr all sub-tasks. 5. Click Edit Access Rights. 6. Select each lcatin and accunt that this user may access. 7. Click OK. 8. Review the Access Rights fr the user t ensure the crrect prperties are assigned. The user may nw access the client applicatin accrding t the assigned rights. Client Applicatin Installatin Checklist Gather setup infrmatin OfficeCnnect lgin credentials Remte Check Depsit User ID, Passwrd, Access key, & Cmputer activatin cde (fr multifactr authenticatin). Review Minimum Client PC Requirements are met. Cmplete Install Prerequisites Establish a Trust t the Web Server Set Custm Security Levels Dwnlad.NET Security Plicy. Access client applicatin with supplied URL. Activate Cmputer (if using multifactr authenticatin). Lg in t client applicatin with Administrative lgin infrmatin. Enter access key (if requested) generated during license generatin. Edit Access Rights. Install Scanner Driver. Clse Internet Explrer t save cnfiguratins.
