It was an imprssiv yar, with 308 citis rporting on thir climat chang data (six tims mor than th numbr that was rportd in th survy s first yar of 2011), making this th largst and most comprhnsiv survy of citis and climat chang publishd to dat by CDP. City govrnmnts from Hlsinki to Canbrra to La Paz participatd, including ovr 90% of th mmbrship of th C40 a group of th world s largst citis ddicatd to climat chang ladrship. Approximatly half of rporting citis masur city-wid missions. Togthr, ths citis account for 1.67 billion tonns CO 2, putting thm on par with Japan and UK missions combind. 60% of all rporting citis now hav compltd a climat chang risk assssmnt. And citis rportd ovr 3,000 individual actions dsignd to rduc missions and adapt to a changing climat. Mxico City has a plan that addrsss climat chang adaptation: Estratgia Local d Acción Climática d la Ciudad d México, Mxico City anticipats that national and/or rgional climat chang activitis will hav impacts on Mxico City s own climat chang activitis. Sinc 2004, Mxico City s Govrnmnt has ld th fforts in mitigating climat chang in th country.
