APPROVAL OF THE RECEIPT OF $637,500 FROM KENTUCKY DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION FOR A 21 ST CENTURY COMMUNITY LEARNING CENTER GRANT FOR HEATH ELEMENTARY SCHOOL Motion made by Rick Straub and seconded by Michael Hatton to approve the receipt of $637,500 from the 21 st Century Community Learning Center Grant award for Heath Elementary School. Motion carried. CONTRACT FOR NAMING RIGHTS BY MARQUETTE TRANSPORTATION Motion made by Don Heine and seconded by Rick Straub to approve the contract for naming rights by Marquette Transportation for the McCracken County High School football stadium. Michael Hatton abstained. Motion carried. APPROVAL OF PRICING AND METHOD OF SALE FOR RESERVED CHAIR & BLEACHER SEATS FOR McCRACKEN COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL 135 Motion made by Rick Straub and seconded by Michael Hatton to approve $150 for PSL, $150 for season tickets, $75 for bleacher seats, and method of sale for MCHS reserved chair seats at the football stadium and Strawberry Hills Pharmacy Arena. REQUEST FOR APPROVAL OF CHANGE ORDER #32 TO THE BUILDING PACKAGE FOR THE NEW McCRACKEN COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL Motion made by Jerry Shemwell and seconded by Michael Hatton to approve Change Order #32 to the building package for the new McCracken County High School. Motion carried. ORDERS OF THE TREASURER Motion made by Rick Straub and seconded by Don Heine that the Orders of the Treasurer for payment of bills be approved and payment be authorized. Motion carried. EXECUTIVE SESSION Motion made by Rick Straub and seconded by Don Heine that the Board go into Executive Session to discuss the following business, for the following reasons and under the following exceptions to KRS : Executive Session cont d 1) To hear a report from the attorney for the board on pending and proposed litigation pursuant to KRS (1) (c) because the discussion in open session would be a waiver of the attorney/client privilege and have an adverse effect on said litigation.
