ECUITMENT: JUNIO WEB AND INTANET SUPPOT CONSULTANT: IT KEY OLE: Administration and Support areas: GIBS Administration System (GAS) and Internet student and faculty portal Assisting and supporting 1 st line escalations from the Information Center Intranet administration and support Data capturing and administration MAIN ESPONSIBILITIES esponsibilities and requirements include but are not limited to: Administration functions of in-scope systems including but not necessarily limited to Security and user account management: maintaining roles and responsibilities in the systems, ensuring staff have the correct access and no more Jobs: Overseeing any batch processing, day-end, imports etc. as required (note DP team also perform some of this but this role will be required to support this work). Data administration (cleaning, importing, batch processing) note per previous point. Monitoring, escalation and reporting: Ensuring the system is working optimally, capacity is adequate, and tacking any issues. Escalation of incidents and ownership to resolution. User support and training First point of call with regards user queries, both technical and functional. Ownership of queries to closure including coordination with 2 nd / 3 rd level support or developers (with the Business Administrators), communication with the user, and signoff of final fix with the complainant. Development administration Identification and collation of bugs, escalation to business analyst or project manager Support for development change control process (e.g. collation of change requests, maintenance of change register) Quality review testing of fixes, participation in user acceptance testing where required. Internet Publish requests in Webmaster s absence Troubleshooting o Confirming programmes correctly captured on CM when not showing on website o Ensuring programmes are published on the back-end

2 o Ad-hoc clearing/adjustment of reserved seats when programme application close on the website Ongoing assistance to super users Logging, tracking, and escalating calls with 3 rd party service providers Maintain operations case logging Management of super users and permissions Manage joiners, leavers, and internal movement Intranet Management of Users and Groups, both Intranet and Yammer Support the webmasters content and structure requests Train and support the GIBS users edirecting of queries to GIBS Helpdesk system where relevant Data Processing and Capturing Indirectly reporting to the data processing team eview data quality and correctness from the different business units Bulk uploading of enrolment data EDUCATIONAL AND EXPEIENCE EQUIEMENTS Ideal Profile: High school diploma or equivalent Proficient in relevant Microsoft Office applications equired proficiency in English, both spoken and written Some experience in a call center or customer service environment and/or 1st line IT desktop support. Knowledge of administration and clerical processes COMPETENCIES Knowledge and Skills Verbal and written communication skills Listening skills Customer service orientation Organizational skills Attention to detail equired language skills High level of computer literacy Good typing and transcription speed and quality Above average skills with Excel Attributes Self-starter and motivated Able to escalate and ask for help when needed.
