2 Start date and salary New starters are recruited on a monthly basis. Salaries range from 28,013 to 60,774 and are dependent on the applicant s area of expertise as well as the breadth and depth of experience. About the posts These posts are offered as 23 month fixed term role. All applicants must hold a UK work permit or visa valid for a two year period prior to applying. Experience Testing will follow standard methodologies and procedures for a range of solutions including front- and back-office enterprise, mobile apps and web based applications. Projects will vary in nature between: development, maintenance and support; and involve working on implementations, upgrades, releases and patches of software packages, as well as bespoke applications. Candidates will ideally have a degree (classification 2:2 or above). The specialisms we are recruiting for include: A) Performance Testing B) Data Provisioning, Environment Virtualisation and Automation C) OAT (Operational Acceptance Testing) D) Security Testing Experience Testing will follow standard methodologies and procedures for a range of solutions including front- and back-office enterprise, mobile apps and web based applications. Projects will vary in nature between: development, maintenance and support; and involve working on implementations, upgrades, releases and patches of software packages, as well as bespoke applications. Candidates will ideally have a degree (classification 2:2 or above). IBM Client Innovation Centre: Thames Valley is seeking individuals with the following attributes in one of these specialisms: A) Performance Testing Experienced Test Practitioner with excellent understanding of testing methodologies and standards (ideally at least ISEB foundation certified), along with plenty of relevant IT experience. Strong understanding of performance test principles Proven experience/track record in the delivery of performance testing within projects and large scale programmes An ability to work well in both a team as well as autonomously Technical document reviews and validation of non-functional requirements. Experience in the preparation of estimates, scope tailored to the project requirements and risk appetite. Experienced in the creation of all Performance Test related documentation deliverables including Detailed Test Plans, Test Outcome Reports as well as adhoc reports and dashboards. Highly experienced in Performance Testing, and be an expert in the use of HP Performance Center and LoadRunner, with recent, solid experience of the tools Experience in Performance Testing in a Microsoft environment with UNIX experience advantageous. Perform Scripting, execute and analyse the test results utilising various tools to tests applications across multi-tiered infrastructure. Experience in Performance Engineering and system tuning Experience of multiple platforms and environments in a range of industries, but with the Financial Sector being vital. 10 D) Security Testing Reviewing the Information Security and Non Functional Requirements, selecting the appropriate test method, writing evidence statements and agreeing the scope and coverage with Information Security and the Project Team. Defining a risk based test approach in line with Industry best practice. Estimating the amount of time required for Security Testing activities. Threat Modelling and Risk Analysis PCI-DSS Compliance Identify and exploit vulnerabilities in applications Writing the Security Test Plan and ensuring that the relevant stakeholders are brought into and support the approach. Conduct static reviews of design and technical documentation, raising defects as appropriate. Conduct reviews of authentication, archive, data retention, AML and other controls to confirm the controls have been applied as designed and confirm to IS standards. Maintain visibility of the Operational Risk Log and Threat model and identifying any additional tests required whilst ensuring that any security risk associated with detected vulnerabilities s are accepted and entered on the risk log. Complete progress reports and test completion reports. Ensure that the traceability matrix from IS requirements through designs to tests conformance statements and defects are up to date and maintained in Quality Centre. Understand and discuss identified vulnerabilities with both technical and non-technical project team members. Facilitate and co-ordinate the Penetration Test working with the cyber Team. Raise and manage risk and issues associated with Security Testing. Plan for, prepare for and execute functional and technical security tests to confirm access controls, audit, archive and other controls function as per the design and confirm to the requirements. 11 Job title and Financial Revenue Analyst - REF-TV-FRA2 Salary range 28,013 to 36,842 Job description Experience IBM Client Innovation Centre Thames Valley is looking for talented individuals to work within the Commercial / Finance team to support and manage the account revenues. Candidates will ideally have a degree (classification 2:2 or above). Ideal candidates will be responsible for: Lead the revenue process for the IBM's client account circa $50mio annual billing in a client facing finance role Assist with revenue metrics and lead process improvement initiatives. Manage the access integrated billing tool Maintain the commercial mapping database in excel To assist with the processing of ad-hoc and manually typed bills Provide billing documentation and other information requested by clients. Regular meetings with client governance team. Providing financial information to commercial manager and account leads Interface with offshore team to ensure deliverable are met. 12 Job title and Integration Architect - REF-TV-IA2 Salary range 52,974 to 60,774 Job description IBM Client Innovation Centre Thames Valley is looking for individuals to work in dynamic Integration Architecture roles to join our expanding team operating in the enterprise middleware space. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and gain exposure to different industries and client platforms. Typically roles would include providing technical leadership on specific delivery elements of middleware projects, which may encompass the delivery of the enterprise service bus, business process management and security. Particular focus will be in the early lifecycle stages of projects from requirement through to design, then providing continuing technical oversight through the subsequent delivery phases. More senior architects would be expected to provide thought leadership at an enterprise level in areas such as methods, governance and best practice. Experience Candidates will have proven knowledge and a track record of working as an Architect in the middleware space having taken responsibility for the architectural design for ESB services or business process orchestration and the coexistence of both functions. The candidate should have knowledge of methods and tools used in the delivery of integration projects as well as demonstrating an understanding of the principles and benefits is SOA based solutions, SOA governance and the wider aspects of an integration solution around data, environments and the non functional characteristics. We would specifically be interested in hearing from people with experience in the IBM middleware product sets around IIB and BPM, additionally ODM, Datapower and the use of Rational System Architect (RSA) for integration service design. Consideration will also be given to people with good experience of other integration technologies and tools. As well as having excellent communication, analytical, and problem solving skills and a clear client focus, ideal candidates will demonstrate their ability to: Lead in analysis and design to create high level solution outlines and more detailed integration and process designs.
