The College has a strategic plan that is connected to the institution s strategic plan. In addition, a Marketing Strategy with specific marketing tactics revised annually has been developed to reach the goals of the strategic plan. The college has allowed the university to expand its reach to new students with new programs, formats and locations. The College is accountable for approximately $11M in Revenues with programs with at least 30% margins. The College has 22 Full-Time administrative staff, and 5 Part-Time administrative staff. Approximately 120 faculty teach in the College who are either part-time faculty or full-time faculty coming from the other schools at the university with overload teaching assignments. Started new graduate programs M.S. in Non Profit Leadership (2013), M.S. in Economic Crime and Forensics with tracks in Cybersecurity and Business Forensics (2012), M.S. in Human Capital Development (2011), and M.S. in Instructional Technology Management (2008). They are all offered in blended or online formats and are geared for adult learners. Lead the La Salle University Online Initiative ( ).

2 Initiated an onsite MBA program at one of the largest employers in Philadelphia, Independence Blue Cross (2011). Started a 2+2 program for the graduates of the local community college at the satellite campus (2009) The program is being expanded to two additional majors in Fall 2014 Doubled the enrollment in the Post Baccalaureate Certificate Program in Pre Speech, Language and Hearing through expanded online courses (2008). Initiated a Faculty Development Program to expand online course offerings (2006) Started a new center for Adult Learners - Metroplex Corporate Center in Montgomery County, PA (2008) and expanded the Bucks Center at Newtown, Bucks County, PA (2006). Implemented summer online offerings (2006) The online enrollment has grown exponentially in early years and it continues to increase. Achievements in International Education: Internationalization across the university through establishment of global competence learning goals (2012). The collaborative efforts for bringing together faculty and administrators across the various departments resulted in the common learning goals for undergraduate students. Process for assessing global competence across the Institution (2013). The efforts started by the Internationalization Advisory Board in 2012 resulted in agreement of measurement tools for assessing global competence of students, engaged in intensive international activities as well as students who study at home. Started a very successful Intensive English Program, English language Institute (2011). Enrollment and Programming objectives are met and the program continues to grow with a new addition of a Pathway program in 2012 for students who can take some credit bearing courses along with Intensive English classes. Collaborations with several institutions for International Programming Full degree offerings abroad at partner institutions: Graduate Programs in Prague, Czech Republic (M.A. in Professional Communication since 2004, M.A. in Psychological Counseling since 2009). Graduate Program in Athens, Greece (M.A. in Psychological Counseling since ). Master of Business Administration Program is offered in Basel, Switzerland through Basel Chamber of Commerce (since 2001). Expanded Study Abroad and Travel Study courses to offer many choices to students to get international exposures. Changed the Financial Structure for Study Abroad to expand broader participation (2013). The change had to be supported and approved by the President s Team and is expected to expand participation and assist in internationalization efforts. Provide leadership to the International Education Management Team composed of Academic, Student Affairs and Enrollment staff. The goal is to coordinate the various efforts of the university and offices involved in these efforts (2003 to present).

3 Started the Full-Time MBA program in 2002 and program is currently comprised of 40% international students. Other Academic Leadership Achievements: Assisted in the AACSB Re-affirmation of School of Business (April 2005). Managed all functions of the MBA program and helped to grow the single Part-Time program to Part-Time Working Professional, Full-Time MBA and Swiss Executive MBA programs. The MBA programs are expanded to four campuses: Philadelphia, Bucks County, Montgomery County and Basel, Switzerland ( ). Developed a strategic direction for the MBA program linking its mission to key measures for its achievement. Developed Course Imbedded Direct Outcome Measures (2004). Initiated and implemented a major curriculum change in the MBA Program with specific learning objectives (1997). Established partnerships with international institutions, significantly increasing the international student enrollment in the MBA Program. The number of international students in the MBA program has tripled in four years ( ). Received several Grants including a grant to allow Video Conferencing technology to connect the campuses (2004). Established several non-credit and executive development programs. One of the programs was for Einstein Hospital: Physician Executive Management Training Program (2004). Established MSN-MBA degree through alliance with the School of Nursing (2000). Initiated and implemented international travel/study programs for undergraduate and graduate students. Over 120 MBA students have participated in the program ( ). Initiated a Post-MBA Certificate. This program has attracted 50 students with almost no incremental cost to the institution (1997). Established an alliance with Johnson and Johnson, a Fortune 100 company. This relationship has evolved from campus recruiting and corporate site visits, to a jointly designed course in Introduction to Business for all freshmen at the school. The course allows several executives from Johnson and Johnson to co-teach with university faculty. This alliance has resulted in the placement of graduates to the Johnson and Johnson Financial Leadership Program. In the past few years La Salle University had the most participants. Worked with the School of Business Scholarship Taskforce to establish a faculty evaluation program (1996). Provided leadership to the university s 15 graduate programs through a fiveperson graduate team ( ). Served in many Vice President, Dean and Director Searches as Chair or as a member.

Advanced Management Accounting syllabus was published for distribution by the Behavioral Accounting Section of the American Accounting Association. Increased exposure to Management Accounting through various activities, such as field trips, guest speaker series, and eventually through the establishment of the Student Chapter of the Institute of Management Accounting. Responsible for supervising the selection of student departmental award winners as well as external applications for student scholarships. Several students have received awards, including two winners of the Arthur H. Carter Award from the American Accounting Association.
