Our staff is eagerly working to make this a truly informative and empowering program with tracks/roundtables aimed at addressing constructive ways to deal with the present challenges and opportunities facing our community clinic and health center community. This high profile event honors special individuals who have been instrumental throughout the year in addressing the serious healthcare concerns facing California s uninsured, low-income, and minority communities. The expected 600+ attendees will include key decision makers and leadership from hundreds of clinics across the state. 3 Preconference Events CPCA Committee Meetings Tuesday, October 1 Wednesday, October 2 A meeting schedule will soon be available on the CPCA website at Wednesday, October 2 8:30 AM 5:00 PM NCQA Advanced Topics in PCMH: Mastering PCMH Recognition SPACE IS LIMITED! Early Registration is highly recommended for this opportunity. Due to overwhelming response to NCQA s Patient-Centered Medical Home Recognition (PCMH) program, many are eager to learn more about the requirements and apply its criteria to improve quality. NCQA will further review the challenging PCMH 2011 standards, identify acceptable documentation for the elements, examine complex scoring rules, and discuss how a practice can create and maintain a continuous quality improvement culture. AUDIENCE This interactive program is geared towards individuals with significant knowledge of the NCQA PCMH 2011 Standards, and experience implementing those standards in a practice setting, those who have attended the Facilitating Patient-Centered Medical Home Recognition seminar, and those who intend to obtain the individual Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) Content Expert Certification credential. 3:00 PM 5:00 PM Outreach and Enrollment Briefing and Educational Exposition This event will bring together leaders and experts to discuss the most current information on outreach and enrollment policies and practices. Speakers will address the national, statewide and local perspectives.
