Intrductin The Insurance Regulatry and Develpment Authrity (IRDA) is a Regulatry Authrity t prtect the interests f the plicyhlders, t regulate, prmte and ensure rderly grwth f the insurance industry and fr matters cnnected therewith r incidental theret. 2. Objective: IRDA desires t hire ne.net Develpment Prfessinal thrugh prfessinal agencies fr Develpment, Maintenance and Supprt fr IRDA Sftware Applicatins, fr a perid f ne year, extendable up t tw years based n the requirement. 3. Scpe f Wrk The.Net prgrammer t be hired shall carry ut the fllwing wrks Develpment, maintenance and supprt IRDA Sftware Applicatins develped in-huse under.net platfrm. There are arund eight such applicatins maintained in-huse which include IRDA s website and Intranet. Ensure backups f all applicatins and databases n a peridical intervals as per the backup plicy Database maintenance activities n SQL servers, cnfigure IIS sever and ther related activities Develpment new applicatins under.net platfrm in a stipulated time frame. C-rdinatin with ISPs fr hsting, security and ther related issues Create dcumentatins fr all the applicatins and maintain the same..net Develpment Prfessinal shuld have experience as fllws. B.Tech/B.E IT/Cmputers, MCA and M.Sc Cmputer Science/IT frm any UGC apprved University in India 4 t 5 years experience in Micrsft Technlgies. Strng technical knwledge f.net technlgies required: VB.NET ASP.NET, C#, Visual Studi, Entity Framewrk, sftware develpment experience using Micrsft.NET 2.0 r abve, Experience in prgramming is mandatry. Must have knwledge f HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, XML, IIS Web server, SQL server. Strng SQL Server experience and Other Databases. Experience in develping and delivering slutins utilizing SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) Strng knwledge f Object Oriented Principles. Gd experience in Design Patterns and CMS(Cntent Management System) Slutins Ready t learn new technlgy and quick learner. Experience in the develpment/custmizatin

Term f Reference (TOR) & Service Level Agreement (SLA): The selected bidder shall be respnsible fr making available f.net Prfessinal, as shall be stipulated in the cntract, f Prfessinals with requisite qualificatin and experience. The place f wrk shall be ÍRDA Head ffice, Hyderabad The prfessinals are prpsed t be hired initially fr a perid f 12 mnths frm the start date f cntract with a selected bidder. Hwever, cntract, at the ptin f the IRDA, may be extended fr a further perid f 12 mnths based upn perfrmance f the cntract requirement. The price quted will remain unchanged fr the extended perid f 12 mnths. The successful bidder shall frward the list f eligible candidates t the IRDA within 5 days f award f cntract. The IRDA shall select the candidates fr deplyment n the prject. The cntractr shall pst the selected candidates n the prject within 5 wrking days f receipt f apprval f candidates frm the IRDA. Fr the Prfessinal resurce deplyed, the cntractr will keep with them their present and permanent address (with prf), educatinal and technical qualificatin details, specimen signatures, tw passprt size phtgraphs and frward the same t the IRDA. The cntractr shall ensure that the prfessinals are paid the salaries as indicated in the cntract within 10 wrking days frm the date f receipt f satisfactry perfrmance statement/attendance reprt. It is the respnsibility f the cntractr t btain perfrmance/attendance reprt frm the IRDA within first week f the succeeding mnth. If the perfrmance f any f the prfessinal deplyed n the prject is nt fund satisfactry and/r the prfessinal leaves the assignment in between, it shall be the respnsibility f the cntractr t prvide replacement f the prfessinal within a perid f five wrking days. During the term f the Cntract, the prfessinals shall be wrking/using n Netwrk cmpnents, Hardware, Sftware and/r ther infrmatin technlgy infrastructure f the IRDA. They shall take reasnable and prper care f all. NDA shuld be signed with IRDA with reference t all Infrmatin Security Plicy. N hlidays/leave shall be permissible t the deplyed persns ther than nrmal Gvernment hlidays. It will be 5 days wrking with Saturday and Sunday weekly ff. Office hurs shall be frm 10.0 AM in the mrning till 6.00 PM in the evening. Medical r any ther lsses t the staff deplyed will nt be brne by IRDA and it will be the respnsibility f the vendr nly. In case, the prfessinal abstains frm duty during the particular mnth, the amunt payable t the cntractr shall be prprtinately reduced fr the crrespnding mnth. Payment Terms & Schedule. The Invice shall be prepared by the vendr and submitted t IRDA. Payment shall be made n fllwing cnditins:-

4 .Net Develpment Prfessinal fr IRDA Applicatin RFP a) All payments t the cntractr shall be made subject t deductin f TDS (Tax deductin at Surce) as per the Incme -Tax Act 1961 and ther taxes if any as per the Gvernment f India Rule. b) Payment will be made n Mnthly basis after availing service i.e. after satisfactry cmpletin f services in the preceding mnth. c) Payment shall be made after making recveries n accunt f penalties fr shrt fall in perfrmance as detailed in the SLA and als after making recveries fr the perid fr which the Prfessinals availed Leave during the perid. d) IRDA can cnvey specific bservatins t any incrrect/wrng-inviced amunts by written ntice t the cntractr. Service Level Agreement & Penalties. In case the cntractr fails t deply the persnnel within the time perid stipulated in the cntract, a Rs.1000/- per day per persn will be levied subject t maximum f 5% f the cntract value. Ntwithstanding abve, in case f failure f the cntractr in prviding the manpwer beynd 10 days f the stipulated perid in the cntract, the IRDA als reserves right t cancel the cntract and btain the man pwer frm alternate surces at the risk and cst f the cntractr. In case, leaves and/r is remved frm service fr reasn whatsever, suitable substitute shall be prvided within five wrking days failing which penalty as prescribed abve shall be levied. 5. Eligibility Criteria: Bidder must be an agency ffering IT slutins and services fr at least last 3 years. Average turn ver frm IT slutins and services f nt less than Rs.50 Lakhs in each f the preceding 3 financial years. A certificate in riginal frm Chartered Accuntant n the turn ver frm ttal IT slutins fr the reference year shall be submitted. Data Entry Agencies, HR staffing cmpanies, placement and security persnnel service prviders and nn-it firms are nt eligible fr participatin. General Cnditins: Tender will be decided based n the Lwest ffer. If tw r mre bidders qute the same rate, a revised price cver will be sught fr price evaluatin. IRDA, reserves the right t reject all Tenders and cancel the Tender withut assigning any reasns. The decisin regarding shrt listing / selectin f vendr shall be with the Authrity and shall be final.
