Wealth Management is a core business unit within CUNA Mutual Group, poised for significant growth by providing financial advice and asset accumulation products to middle Americans. This will be achieved by building and accelerating the growth of its financial service program for credit unions (CBSI), as well as growing distribution of its unique manufactured annuity products through channel partners outside the credit union space. Led by Senior Vice President, Jeff Bosco, the Wealth Management business consists of CUNA Brokerage Services (CBSI), the Company s financial advisor network within the credit union market, and its manufactured annuity products, which are distributed through both CBSI and through other channel partners (Financial Advisor Network or FAN) outside the credit union space. CUNA Brokerage Services, Inc. provides broker- dealer services to credit unions throughout the nation, offering a full range of investment and insurance products to help credit unions support their members in reaching a more secure financial position. CBSI is the leading broker- dealer serving the credit union marketplace and has more than 250 credit union programs, 400 active advisors, with more than $3 billion in mutual fund, annuity and managed account sales, and more than $140 million in annual revenue. The Wealth Management business also manufactures a full portfolio of MEMBERS branded annuity products available to consumers through both our CBSI and FAN distribution channel partners. Products are differentiated by their simplicity solutions designed specifically for middle market target segments who need non- complex features at competitive prices, coupled with support and information that enables customers to choose the right product for their situation.

4 About the Position: Under the direction of the Vice President Strategy, Planning, Data & Analytics, the newly created Vice President of Marketing and Customer Experience role holds the primary responsibility for developing and managing the overall product and sales marketing strategy and for leading the development and execution of the customer experience for the Wealth Management business. This senior level position is responsible for understanding the wealth management market, market opportunities, leading marketing practices, macro and industry trends, and customer needs. Branding and marketing strategies will support credit unions and other channel partners interested in offering CUNA Mutual Group s products and services, reach financial advisors who sell the products, and educate consumers. Leading a team of marketing professionals in Madison and other locations, the Vice President will work with the Vice President of Strategy to determine how to best grow the Wealth Management business and implement the vision. The Vice President of Marketing and Customer Experience is responsible for driving brand value by developing innovative marketing plans to position Wealth Management products. This effort will incorporate both B2B and B2C strategy to create new business growth and retention. The marketing function will work closely with other business and infrastructure areas to efficiently deliver and measure results. Responsibilities: Develop and lead execution of annual long- term marketing plan for Wealth Management, including leadership of branding strategy and management; oversee advertising and media selection Serve as a member of CUNA Mutual Group s brand council Lead development and evolution of customer experience; determine key value drivers to define and deliver new business capabilities in support of the roadmap As part of the executive leadership team, contribute to the overall strategy of the business with the goal of achieving short and long- term growth Establish, communicate and implement departmental plans, objectives and strategies and gain support from relevant stakeholders Ensure marketing initiatives and programs support Wealth Management business goals Establish, refine, and manage dashboard of key performance indicators; evaluate program effectiveness and make adjustments to ensure results Manage and develop staff by creating a common vision, setting clear objectives for department, and providing staff members regular performance feedback Experience and Competencies: 10+ years of marketing leadership experience in a comparable business Deep knowledge of financial services/insurance marketing practices preferred Bachelor s degree in Marketing, Business or other related field, or related professional experience; MBA strongly preferred Experience successfully branding/rebranding in a complex, matrixed environment

5 Ability to innovate product offerings and service approach, enhance the customer experience, and ultimately grow the business Prior strategic and tactical marketing leadership experience Proven success developing and implementing large- scale change initiatives to improve sales and marketing performance Demonstrated record of leveraging insight and data analysis to determine the best ways to exceed customer needs and business targets Proven ability to architect customer experience with a complex product or service Excellent communication skills with senior leaders, internal and external business partners, customers and consumers Ability to assess the marketing function and determine how to operationally implement best practices in support of the business Ability to provide a strong voice in leading the marketing strategy with collaborative teams Experience hiring, training, leading and motivating a sizeable team Comfortable with a fast- paced environment Ability to travel up to 10-20% Position Location: The position is located in Madison, Wisconsin.
