2 AIM s Advanced Diploma of Management (BSB60407) is a practical and comprehensive program designed to extend and develop the potential of key managers and leaders. Enhancing your skills in seeking innovative and sustainable business solutions; organisational and risk management; strategic and people leadership, it will help embed the capabilities needed to manage and instigate growth and positive change. > Duration This qualification will require 9 days of face-to-face training, followed by an assessment covering each unit of competency. > This qualification is right for you If you are an existing or aspiring manager with leadership, technical expertise and overall business aptitude seeking the right mix of skills, wanting to position yourself for career growth or formalise your experience with a nationally recognised qualification. > Prerequisites To be successful you should have responsibilities such as business planning, organisational performance and people leadership. This will allow sufficient opportunity for you to successfully complete assessment tasks. 3 QUALIFICATION STRUCTURE > Pre-course Prior to attending your course, you will receive an from AIM directing you to your pre-course work. Ensure you re prepared by thoroughly reading through these materials. Make a note of areas you feel you may need further information on and of questions you want to have answered when you attend class. > Training Days Classes start at 9:00am and usually finish around 4:30pm. On your training days, AIM will provide morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. Please advise AIM of any special dietary requirements you may have upon enrolling for your qualification. > Assessments Your assessment is the final piece you need to complete to achieve competency in each unit. Answer all the questions as best you can. Talk to other people in your organisation to get a better understanding on how things are currently implemented and how things can be improved based on the new knowledge you have. Your assessment is a great way to become involved in key projects within your organisation in helping to transfer knowledge and information into practical skills. Risk Management 2 Days BSBRSK501B Manage risk The Risk Management short course will guide you on how to create, implement and evaluate a risk management strategy that supports your organisation s objective and ensures the minimisation of risk. Manage Innovation and Continuous Improvement 1 Day BSBMGT608C Manage innovation and continuous improvement This short course provides you with the skills, knowledge and insight to effectively take the lead in using innovation to realise business outcomes.
