4 in Business Intelligence March 1939: Analyzing 4 million London Underground 2ckets Not much innova-on happened over the last three decades; Acquisi-on of Business Objects and Cognos led to huge internal corporate integra-on projects, which provide us stable, complex and large product suites; Tradi-onal BI doesn t meet the rapidly moving world around us; Business needs easy, understandable, scalable and agile tooling without involvement of specialists. 4

9 Cloud Service Models BISaaS SaaS PaaS IaaS Provisdes a Business Intelligence delivery model in a pay- as- you- go delivery subscrip@on model. BI SaaS is also known as Cloud BI or On- Demand BI. Provides to use the applica@ons that are running on a Cloud infrastructure. All applica@ons are accessible via a web browser. Provides the capability to deploy own developed or acquired applica@ons that are created by programming languages or tools supported by the provider. Provides processing, networks and other fundamental compu@ng resources where the customer is able to deploy and run sotware. This includes opera@ng systems and applica@ons. 9
