9 Topic group Norsk Biometri Forum Topics for the working group are related to biometric research, technologies and applica2ons Scope The working group is an open pla[orm dedicated to regular exchange of informa2on related to the field of Biometrics. The target of the working group is the interdisciplinary discussion between research, technology developers, data privacy experts, governmental agencies and operators of Biometric Systems. The group iden2fies new applica2ons and offers a pla[orm to present latest research results and products. Furthermore the working group is elabora2ng posi2on papers on dedicated biometric topics 12
10 Topic group Norsk Biometri Forum Mee2ngs The working group will arrange 2 annual mee2ngs, one in the fall semester (September to November) and one in the spring semester (March to May). Mee2ngs will be hosted at the Ministry of Jus2ce and the Police in Oslo, R 5, Akersgaten 59, Oslo Coffee and Lunch: Request for sponsoring to FRISC Agenda Sugges2ons for topics to be presented at the mee2ngs will be collected by Magnar Aukrust (MoJ). He will be supported by the Norwegian Biometrics Laboratory (NBL). 13
