2 ABOUT US CULTURE & SOLIDARITY Culture & Solidarity is a Non- Profit Organiza6on, founded in 2010, with the purpose of suppor6ng and spreading the expression of culture and solidarity. Its goal is to raise awareness of global issues of conserva6on, development and u6liza6on of all types of cultural expression: art, history, archeology, pain6ng, music, theater, cinema and visual arts in general. Culture & Solidarity encourages cultural tourism and all forms of ar6s6c or literary expression including those of both modern content and means of distribu6on. 4 The editorial project «Dear President, I am wri.ng to you The Europe that I dream of» Students and Ins.tu.ons meet and speak to each other Objec.ves The Editorial project called Dear President, I am wri6ng to you Students and Ins6tu6ons meet and speak to each other was created by our Non- profit Organiza6on Culture & Solidarity and provides a series of 11 publica6ons each aimed at a different ins6tu6onal personality. The editorial project has the following goals: - To create a direct communica6on channel between young students and Ins6tu6ons, with the involvement of Primary School pupils, Secondary School students, Teachers, School Directors managing Schools located in all Italian regions and in capital ci6es within the European Union; - To support and improve on the school program Ci6zenship and Cons6tu6on in order to let students know about the important role of the Ins6tu6ons in Italy and in Europe and to help them understand these laws in a spontaneous, instruc6ve and fun way; - To engage and inspire students about the poli6cal management of a country, or about the governmental structure of Italy and all mawers concerning Italian and European opportuni6es and their relevant ins6tu6ons.

6 «Dear Europe, I am wri.ng to you The Europe that I dream of» Students awending Secondary Schools all over Europe write to the President of European Union Presenta.on - For this ambi.ous project we will get in touch with students awending Secondary Schools, (15-16 year olds) all over Europe, one school for every capital city of all the 28 States that are members of the European Union. - Each student will be asked to write a personal lewer addressed to the Chairman of the European Union. In this lewer the student should include sugges.ons, projects, dreams, sensa.ons concerning Europe, that is The Europe that I dream of. - The students lewers will be handwriwen in their na.ve language, will be collected and published in a special book en.tled Dear Europe, I am wri.ng to you - Each handwriwen lewer will be printed together with a typewriwen transla.on in English, the common European language. - We expect that the printed book will be about 600 pages including an introduc.on of an important Government European Ins.tu.on. - The book cover will be graphically designed in conformity with the format of the whole editorial project. - All books will be sent free of charge, to students, teachers, school directors, to our partners, and to the Government Ins.tu.ons involved in this project.

Distribu.on - the book will be sent in advance and completely free of charge, by courier, to all European Schools involved in this project, for students, teachers, school managers, and for Ins6tu6onal Members of Parliament interested in the project. The book will be sent to our partners and sponsors too.
