6 Physical Mee2ng Places NISK - Norwegian Informa2on Security Conference ( November, Tromsø), supported by FRISC, intended to be the yearly mee"ng place for interna"onal exchange, reflec"on, review, and announcement of FRISC ac"vi"es Breakfast mee2ngs ("frokostmøter med sikringskost"), short (1-2h) mee"ngs with presenta"on and discussion, located in centers of popula"on (probably Oslo, Bergen, Trondheim, Stavanger) Security- market place ("Sikkerhetstorget"), brings together researchers, innovators, companies, and users in a one- day event

7 Physical Mee2ng Places (cont.) Topic groups ("temagrupper"), two topic groups supported by FRISC per year, topic groups focus on a specific topic, are lead preferably by a person not from academia, and deliver a result, e.g., a report, an applica"on for research funding, new modes of coopera"on FRISC reference group/board ("Referansegruppe/ NeJverksråd") provides input to network by public organiza"ons and companies

Planned is a yearly seminar for Ph.D. students in informa"on security, so that they can share experiences from VERDIKT and other projects and to receive feedback on ideas for innova"on FINSE- seminar consists of invited presenta"ons by interna"onally leading researchers with experience from EU projects and industrial development Norwegian Cryptology Seminar ("Norsk Kryptoseminar") is organized yearly by NSM and is supported by FRISC partners (no financial support)

9 Interna2onaliza2on EU FP coordina2on workshop is a mee"ng for EU consor"a and project proposals Invita2on of interna2onally leading researchers who must spend "me with at least two FRISC partner ins"tu"ons Ad hoc workshops, seminars and debate forums are used to address urgent issues in informa"on security, and as a prepara"on of topic groups or other forms of long- term coopera"on
