PLATINUM ICE PRESENTS FASHION FUSION
INTRODUCTION Platinum Ice is an upcoming Fashion Based Events and Production Company, with a primary focus on events centred around fashion, lifestyle and culture. Our initial interest was to showcase the exceptional hidden fashion talent as well as creating a platform for local and international designers and artists. Thus the birth our company Platinum Ice. We hope to extend our reach into the community by participating with organisations and businesses like you. Our aim is to establish and promote a relationship between the Indian and South African fashion industry by bringing down world renowned celeb designers to showcase their exclusive fashion on our doorstep. While at the same time giving local models, artists and upcoming designers an opportunity to perform on the same stage and this is all in aid of charity. Our show will also create brand awareness and promote indian culture in South Africa. Platinum Ice will ensure that all parties involved will gain maximum exposure through our events by teaming up with relevant media partners, newspapers and high end fashion magazines. We have previously hosted Shama Sikander, Babita Malkani, Rubina Dilaik (choti bahu) and Sunita Nagi in SA.
CONCEPT FASHION FUSION by Platinum Ice is a fashion show which will take place on 25 October in Johannesburg and 27 October in Durban. We intend to infuse a mix of vibrant colours as we introduce internationally acclaimed fashion designer Rohit Verma as well as Nyshaa couture from India to South Africa. Their ranges both include a variety of fusion where east meets west. In South Africa, a country of diverse cultures, the appeal of Indian values and fashion is irresistable. Indian culture and fashion is rapidly growing and we can borrow the ethnicity, vibrancy and colours from India and incorporate it into our everyday fashion and style Our line up will cover a number of events, media coverage, fabulous prize giveaways,celeb models, local dance talent and much more. The show will be compered by Upen Patel, who will also perform on stage and be auctioned off for a date where proceeds will go to charity. Celeb models will rock the ramp and boys from the twilight kids home will also do a dance on stage.

He is best known for the Zoom TV show Style Strip, and his stint in the Indian reality show Big Boss.[He was featured as himself in Madhur Bhandarkar s hit blockbuster movie Fashion. He showcases in fashion shows all over the world and is an established name in the fashion industry. Rohit verma has clearly marked his name not only in bollywoood but all over the world. with over 150 shows parading his creations from Ahmedabad to Auckland, Delhi to Dubai and Mumbai to Malaysia, Paris, New York and London, he has firmly established his designing style with both ethnic and western wear. With so many achievements under his belt, its hardly surprising that Rohit Verma is considered one of the top ten designer in India. NYSHAA COUTURE Nyshaa Couture offers a great sense of Asian girl who wants to look modern but doesn't want to forget her traditional values. I, Nyshaa strongly believes fashion is not necessarily about labels or brands. It's about a Spark, a Charm that comes from within you. Designer Nyshaa is from Mumbai and breaking into the South African fashion industry.
THE SHOW The show will kick off with the UK heart throb UPEN PATEL as the MC. Guests will be mesmerised by the fashion on stage as well known faces rock the ramp in this gorgeous couture, which will be for sale after the event. Local dancers will keep guests entertained and there will be numerous prize giveaways throughout the show. Guests will get a chance to mingle with SA and international stars, fashion experts, as well as network with VIP business clients over cocktails after the show. Akshar Choudree will dazzle guests with a showcase of fine diamond jewellery as well as an auction of stunning pieces. SA gold coin will also donate coins for auction and all proceeds will go to charity. The show is to take place at avalon group cinemas- cinecentre killarney, Johannesburg at 7pm on 25 October 2013 and at cinecentre Suncoast,Durban at 3pm on 27 October 2013.
CHARITY TWILIGHT CHILDREN Child and Youth Care Centre in Johannesburg, providing care, development and support for previously disadvantaged children in need of care and protection within the ages of 8 to 18 years. They Facilitate reunification with families were possible, develop and prepare the children for integration into main stream society to build a better South Africa for all. Twilight Children improves the quality of life experienced by a limited number of homeless boys living in Hillbrow thereby contributing to a reduction in the number of children in the streets in need of care and protection. The target group are boys in the ages 8 to 18 years.
