Program Description & Objectives The Gynecologic Surgery Division at CUMC provides this one-day CME program for gynecologic providers and practitioners interested in the most current issues and controversies in benign gynecology and gynecologic surgery. A highly interactive program with pre-recorded surgical videos and challenging case discussions with the expert panel will be featured. At the end of the meeting, participants will be able to take home practical tips and techniques on issues frequently encountered in one s daily practice. At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be better able to: Define the controversy regarding morcellation and articulate the proper evaluation required for patients presenting with abnormal uterine bleeding and fibroids. Describe techniques to improve safety and efficiency during laparoscopic, robotic and vaginal hysterectomy. Articulate the considerations for fertility in patients with fibroids and endometriosis.
