WELCOME BY CHAIRS Dear Friends and Colleagues, On behalf of the organisation committee and the Executive Board of the EAFPS, we would like to welcome you to attend the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery Annual meeting in London on September 23-25th 2016. The annual meeting is now an established must attend event in the FPS academic calendar and we are proud to be able to host it this year. The meeting is being held in the iconic Grand Connaught Rooms in the heart of central London, close to Covent Garden with its unique vibrancy, culture and variety of culinary excellence and within a short walk of the Theatre district. London in the early Autumn should be in all its splendour and we will be hopeful of some late Indian Summer weather. We have worked hard to compile an outstanding European and International Faculty of speakers, each able and willing to share their vast and varied expertise with a target audience of trainees as well as specialists in this field. Indeed, we are ensuring that our next generation will be given a comprehensive education in our ever expanding specialty with targeted resident forums. Our recurrent focus and theme for the meeting will be to try to highlight controversies in the work we do, with opposing lectures to debate these. Please do join us to share your latest knowledge and experience in what will be a memorable event. We look forward to seeing you in London in the Autumn. Alwyn D Souza & Santdeep Paun Co-Chairs, EAFPS London 2016
