2 INFORMATION SHEET 1. REGISTRATION ALL ATTENDEES MUST REGISTER Registration will take place via an online form. Please go to and follow the instructions. This is crucial for helping us to plan for the conference. If you are not able to register online please ask the coordinating saints in your area to assist you. There is a registration donation of 15 each (ages 12 and above). 2. TRANSLATION If you need translation please bring your own FM radio and headset. 3. ACCOMMODATION We would like to give hospitality to as many guests as possible but the number of guests may be more than we have places for in the homes of the brothers and sisters. We have also enclosed a list of hotel accommodation, with details of location, and how to book. If you wish to request hospitality with the Church in London, please do so by 31 st March so that we can inform you in good time of your hospitality details. You can then arrange meeting or travel directly with your hosts. If you plan to arrive early or stay on after the conference, you must make your own accommodation arrangements. 4. CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE Crèche: A crèche will be held at Bower House for children under 4 in the manor house. The room will have an audio link to the conference and there will be facilities for craft and play. Children: Meetings for children between 4 and 11 will be held at Bower Park School one mile down the hill from Bower House adjacent to the traffic lights. Parents will be expected to help each day. They should be dropped off between 9:45 and 10:15 at the registration table inside the school where you will be asked to sign your children in. If you come earlier than this you must remain with your children at the school until They must be picked up immediately after the afternoon meeting. All children should bring their own packed lunch as it will not be possible for parents to bring their children food during the break. Young People: Young people will be partly in the main meetings of the conference and partly in their own meetings. Further information will be available closer to the time. 5. TRANSPORT Public transport (mass transit) is the most convenient way to travel in and around London in terms of speed and economy, since traffic here is very congested. We would kindly ask the saints to make their own way from the airports to their hospitality rather than request collection from the airport. Please see the transport sheet for details of public transport. Shuttle: There will be a shuttle from Newbury Park tube station (central line) each day of the conference beginning at 9am and returning after the afternoon meeting.

3 6. PARKING There will be no parking at Bower House except for the elderly and disabled and those bringing young children (0-3) to the Creche. If you have older children and crèche age children there will be a drop off area at Bower Park School where you can park briefly, drop off the older child and then drive up to Bower House and park. Parking will be at Bower Park School one mile down the hill from Bower House. There will be a shuttle from the car park to Bower House. Please come early, especially on Friday, to facilitate parking and shuttling or walking up the hill to Bower House and to ensure that the meeting starts in a good way. The car park will be opened at 8:30. If you need to park at Bower House for any reason you will need to obtain a parking permit from the parking brothers at Bower Park School on the first day. Please try to car pool as much as possible. Note: We cannot park in the Orange Tree Pub which is just above Bower House. 7. LUNCH Lunch will not be provided and we encourage you to bring your own lunch. Please note that there are no stores nearby and because of the parking situation it will not be possible to use your car to travel to buy lunch. Tea and coffee will be available. 8. 5 TRANSPORT INFORMATION Full information is available at Please do not ask to be collected from the airport. Heathrow and Gatwick airports are a 3-4 hour round trip drive from Bower House, depending on traffic; Luton and Stansted airports 2-3 hours. Some flights to Luton and Stansted arrive too late in the day to reach London destinations by public transport. Please make sure your flight arrival time allows you to reach where you need to go. DIRECTIONS TO BOWER HOUSE From Heathrow Airport: At any of the Airport s terminals, follow signs to London Underground tube network. Take the Piccadilly line to Holborn Station. At Holborn station, change to the eastbound Central line for onward travel to Newbury Park station. There will be a shuttle service from Newbury Park station on the dates of the conference from 9am to 10.30am, and also after the meetings. From Gatwick Airport: From South Terminal, follow signs for rail travel to London Victoria station. At Victoria, follow the London Underground signs to take the Northbound Victoria line to Oxford Circus. At Oxford Circus, take the Eastbound Central line to Newbury Park. There will be a shuttle service as outlined above. From Stansted Airport: There is a direct bus and train link from the airport to Liverpool Street station. At Liverpool Street, take the eastbound central line to Newbury Park station. Follow directions as above. From Luton Airport: By Green Line Bus: Some airlines have a special fare arrangement with the bus company of Board outside the airport terminal and get off the bus at Victoria train station. At Victoria station, go to the London Underground. At Victoria, follow directions as above from Gatwick Airport. By train: Take the train from the airport to Kings Cross rail station. From Kings Cross, take the London Underground to Liverpool Street (Metropolitan or Hammersmith & City lines). At Liverpool Street, take the Eastbound Central Line to Newbury Park Station. If there is a group arriving at an airport you may find it cheaper to pre-book a taxi.
