2 THE EVENT Already a landmark event in the calendar of CAE professionals, our International conference celebrates this summer its 10th year. Being grateful to the contributors, the participants, and the CAE community that embraced the event, we are, once again, delighted to invite you to the BETA CAE 6th International Conference which will be held from June 10 th to June 12 th 2015, at the MET Hotel, Thessaloniki, Greece. Every two years our Event brings the CAE Community together and promotes an international exchange of the latest concepts, knowledge, and development requirements on our software products. During the event, technical papers outlining the latest advances in CAE Strategy, methodology, techniques and applications related to our products are presented, offering a unique opportunity for the presenters to lead and inspire by presenting their concepts, demonstrating their achievements, and sharing new development requirements. THE TOPICS The technical forum and contributed presentations will demonstrate the current status and the future trends of the application of the products of BETA CAE Systems, ANSA / µeta suite and SPDRM, in a spectrum of sectors, such as: automotive, motorsports, railway vehicles, aerospace, shipbuilding / offshore, power tools, defence, energy, heavy machinery, biomechanics, chemical processes, electronics, etc. A wide range of topics on various simulation application fields and disciplines will be covered, including: CAE strategy & process planning, Process automation, Product and Simulation Data Management (PDM / SDM), Durability, Crash & Rollover, Occupant & Pedestrian Safety, Dynamics, Noise, Vibration & Harshness, Computational Fluid Dynamics, Optimization, Composite materials modelling, Climate control, Engine technology, Heat transfer, Simulation results assessment etc. 2

3 CALL FOR PAPERS All those who wish to share recent advances and future trends in the analyses technologies, methods and practices for solving the problems of the modern Industry, using our software products, are welcome to contribute to the success of this conference. One of the authors of each paper will receive free accommodation for the duration of the event, as a speaker, courtesy of BETA CAE Systems S.A. SUBMISSION Abstracts of approximately 250 words should be submitted in English for consideration by March 20, Abstracts should clearly state the purpose, results and conclusions of the work to be described in the final paper. The author s name, organization, address, phone & fax numbers and should be also clearly marked. The identification of the speaker among more than one author is required. The language of the conference will be English. Instructions to the authors and templates to be used for the submitted abstracts and papers are available for download at the conference s web-page at our web-site: Abstracts submission will be made by no later than March 20 th, 2015, to: BETA CAE Systems S.A., [email protected] The notification of acceptance will be made by March 31 st, Authors, whose abstracts will be accepted and are designated as speakers, will be asked to: register to the event using the registration link on the event s area on our website, submit a properly formatted final paper, no later than May 3 rd, submit their presentation files no later than May 29 th, 2015, The conference s proceedings will be compiled before the congress, therefore, please, respect the deadlines. REGISTER AS SPEAKER accommodation arrangements. Speakers registration includes: In order to keep a low overall budget for all the participants, there is no participation fee. Furthermore, speakers will receive free accommodation for the duration of the event, courtesy of BETA CAE Systems S.A. Please, note that only one of the authors of each paper can be registered and hosted as speaker. Additional authors may register without participation fee as delegates. Speakers registration is essential for the organization of the event and the delegate pack and full conference attendance, 3
