1 Install the PDF Printer n Mac Server Install PDF Writer 1. Dwnlad the PDFwriter installer frm http://surcefrge.net/prjects/pdfwriterfrmac/ 2. Install as per install instructins. 3. Make a test print (t create the repsitry flder): print any dcument as PDF with PDFwriter. Cnfigure the PDF Writer in farmerswife Server Setup - Lgut all cnnected Users frm the Server - G int Setup > General - Enable PDF Printing: set Enabled t YES - Click n the selectr bar next t Default Printer and chse: PDFwriter - Then click n the grey bar t select the PDF Repsitry flder. - Use SHIFT+CMD+G and type: /private in the entry field - Then brwse t /private/var/spl/pdfwriter/username The flder nly appears if yu previusly made a test print using the PDFwriter If fr sme reasn the private flder is greyed ut and yu can t click n it, search here: User/Shared/pdf writer. Once selected in the entry field the link updates t the abve mentined link (/private/var/spl/pdfwriter/username)autmatically. This flder is intended fr server-side usage. Pdf print uts will be stred just temprarily. Files will be deleted by the fw server if prcess is successful. If the prcess fails, the file remains in the flder. A full flder culd indicate, that there is a prblem with the prcess, e.g. sending invices. - In the next steps click t set the Page Setup (PDF size, prtrait/landscape, A4/Letter ) and Printer Settings t set the default PDF Printer Settings (print n page, multiple pages etc.) Hw t fix PDFwriter n Apple OS X 10.11 "El Capitan" After installing the PDFWriter package duble click the installer file PDFwriter_fr_Mac.dmg again. Explre the cntents f the installer package Lisanet PDFwriter (right muse click > Shw Package Cntent). In the nw pen windw, pen the flder Cntents and duble click n the file with the extensin.gz t unpack the Archive. Page 2 f 5
Cpy the "PDFWriter.ppd" file frm the Archive (Archive/Library/Printers/Lisanet/PDFwriter/ ) t this path n yur machine: /Library/Printers/PPDs/Cntents/Resurces. If yu cannt find the flder Resurces, d while in finder cmd + shift key + G and paste the path int the nw pen windw. Nw g t the Printers dialg (System Preferences > Printer & Scanners) and add the printer, chsing the PDFwriter as explained in the dcumentatin. IMPORTANT: If yu add the printer in System Preferences befre steps #1 and #2 PDFWriter will _NOT_ wrk. Page 3 f 5

Cnfigure the PDF Creatr in farmerswife Server Setup - Lgut all cnnected Users frm the Server - G int Setup > General - Enable PDF Printing: set Enabled t YES - Click n the selectr bar next t Default Printer and chse: PDFCreatr - Then click n the grey bar t select the PDF Repsitry flder. - Use the previusly cnfigured flder in the Aut-Save ptin f PDFCreatr. - This flder is intended fr server-side usage.
