designer mentors hannah bibb Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, the native- Californian began in fashion career in 2009 whilst attending Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut. During her four years at Trinity, Hannah studied Art History and Architecture. She also studied away at the Fashion Institute of Technology, where she was given the chance to intern at both Marie Claire and Teen Vogue. After graduating, Hannah moved to New York City in pursuit of a career in fashion. Assistant Fashion Director Barneys New York Whilst interning at Teen Vogue, Hannah met her mentor, Shiona Turini, who brought the budding intern with her to CR Fashion Book - Carine Roitfeld s high fashion and luxury magazine - as the Fashion and Beauty Assistant, where she stayed with the publication from its debut in 2012 through to its third issue. CRFashionBook.com was also launched during Hannah s time at CR Fashion Book, where she contributed and proposed content, which focused on a range of fashion, lifestyle, beauty and healt, and art. In 2013, Hannah joined Cosmopolitan as Fashion Market Assistant, along with mentor, Shiona. Whilst there, Cosmopolitan and Seventeen magazines combined their fashion departments, which resulted in a promotion for Hannah to Associate Fashion Editor. She now oversees the swim, prom, and boutique markets, as well writing copy for all fashion front-of-book-pages. The young editor also contributes extra content for Cosmopolitan s extended ipad edition, and serves as a Cosmopolitan and Seventeen brand ambassador for media outlets, such as the Seventeen x Sears video campaign, and Cosmopolitan s Fun, Fearless Life Convention. Julia Gall is the Senior Fashion and Accessories Editor at Interview Magazine in New York City. Julia grew up in Somers Point, New Jersey - a beach town on the Jersey Shore. After receiving her BA in Journalism and Studio Art from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts, she got her first big break whilst assisting stylist, Mel Ottenberg, during his time working with globally renowned entertainer, Rihanna. This is her second year in the mentorship program, and she is excited to return to Bermuda. Julia Gall 1 Senior Fashion Editor Interview Magazine
matthew henson Matthew Henson is the Fashion Editor at Complex Magazine, as well as a freelance stylist and brand consultant. He has styled editorials for i-d Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, and was the former Fashion Editor at Flaunt Magazine. Aside from his editorial work, Matthew works as a consultant for emerging brands like En Noir, and Bazar-14, as well as a celebrity stylist for a variety of clients. Fashion Editor Complex Magazine Tiffany Reid, a native New Yorker, studied at Temple University, majoring in both Advertising and Psychology. During her undergraduate tenure, she interned in fashion public relations, as well as at publications, including Allure Magazine. After graduating from Temple, Tiffany landed her dream internship at W Magazine, working in the accessories department. tiffany reid After spending the summer at W, the freshly-graduated intern was on a desperate hunt for a permanent job at a magazine, but was unlucky. So, she returned to her background in psychology, landing a position as Project Director at Ipos Market Research Company. There, she worked in between New York City and Chicago, managing clients, including brand giants, Kraft and Colgate, on marketing initiatives. Although Tiffany had finally found a job, in which she was successful, she felt unfulfilled. She was motivated to reach out to her connections at W Magazine, where she landed a part-time freelance position. A few months later, the hopeful New Yorker was hired as a full-time Closet Assistant at More Magazine. From there, Tiffany moved American Fashion Market Editor Allure Magazine to InStyle, assisting the Accessories Director, where she learned about what is needed to be a Market Editor, pulling clothes/ accessories for photoshoots, working with stylists, as well as creating shopping pages for the magazine. After a few years at InStyle, she moved to Allure Magazine as the Associate Accessories Editor. Tiffany was later promoted to American Fashion Market Editor, which she currently continues to hold. 2
james demolet After graduating from the Fashion Institute of Technology with a degree in Fashion Marketing and Merchandising, James Worthington DeMolet worked as an assistant at GQ, i-d, Italian Vogue, NYLON, Teen Vogue, and W Magazine. Senior Fashion Editor Seventeen Cosmopolitan James joined Cosmopolitan in November 2013. Originally brought on to style the publication s fashion and beauty stories, he was soon styling their cover stories as well. His first cover featured Chrissy Teigen for Cosmo s June 2014 issue. Prior to joining the Cosmo, James served as Creative Director of The Block - a bi-annual indie fashion and art magazine that explored social and political issues. There, he styled and interviewed countless celebrities, including Alanis Morissette, Nicole Richie, Ezra Miller, Ciara, Eve, Lenny Kravitz, Khloe Kardashian, and Isabella Rossellini, amongst many more. Whilst overseeing The Block, he also worked as a freelance stylist with clients that included Converse, GQ, Harpers Bazaar, i-d, Interview, Elle, InStyle, Lula, Nike, NYLON, Target, Teen Vogue, and Vman. As of January, in addition to his contribution to Cosmo, James was brought on to style the cover and fashion stories for the rebranding of Seventeen magazine. Fashion Editor at Elle.com, Danielle Prescod, is responsible for fashion news, market and styling, as well as overseeing all fashion related content for the publication s site. Danielle graduated from New York University s Gallatin School of Individualized Study, and shortly after, landed her first job at Interview Magazine as Market Assistant. From there, she went on to hold the position of Accessories Market Assistant at Teen Vogue, supporting the publication s Accessories Director. Danielle prescod Prior to joining Elle, Danielle worked at Moda Operandi - an online luxury fashion retailer that allows its members to preorder runway designs - for two years. She began as an Assistant Editor, transitioning into the role of Fashion Editor, styling all e-commerce looks, as well as contributing to creative projects. Fashion Editor Elle.com 3
