Dear Partners and Friends: We invite you to join us in celebration of our inaugural Investor Impact Awards, which honor businesses and organizations throughout Louisiana who have made a significant impact at Louisiana s Community and Technical Colleges over the past 10 years. The awards ceremony will be held on April 13, 2016, at the Capitol City Hilton downtown Baton Rouge. Proceeds from the event will benefit the statewide scholarship programs of The Foundation for Louisiana s Community and Technical Colleges. As we work together to build a strong and vibrant workforce for our state, we are committed to eliminating geographic, financial, and scholastic barriers to both our credit and non-credit programs. WHO WE ARE Louisiana Community and Technical College System The Louisiana Community and Technical College System (LCTCS) provides strategic management and support for Louisiana's 13 community and technical colleges. Our colleges award associates degrees, technical diplomas, and industry-based certificates in programs that are aligned with business and industry and local economies, which lead students to good paying middle class jobs. Foundation for Louisiana Community and Technical College System The LCTCS Foundation leads and inspires private support for Louisiana s community and technical colleges to ensure excellence in meeting the education and workforce needs of our State s students, businesses and communities. The Foundation aggregates statewide scholarships dollars and distributes them to colleges, for them to award directly to needy and deserving students. Scholarship Programs Skills USA International Initiatives Professional Development: Support for LCTCS Annual Conference A primary tool in improving faculty skills and programming excellence, resulting in a better-trained workforce, a growing middle class, and more prosperous state.
